I am rejecting this response because:The business has not been responding to messages or questions when sent in a timely mannerThe $dollars that has been referenced was placed in a text message not about complaints but so that we would not write a bad review (proof)The company has received a $check already that has been cashed/depositedThe inspector who came out admitted that the roof is still not up to code and has now failed a fourth time with damages that could further damage the structure of the houseThese same issues have been addressed in past failed inspections and the roof is not at the standard of the amount we were quotedOur contract states $11,590.00, this is the number on the only contract that was signed which now they are stating we owe $12,The reasoning the remainder has not been paid is because the roof has not passed yet and there is still much work to be doneThe upgrade to the shingles was approved through us on the original contract but the "high profile ridge caps" were notWe specifically stated to the contractor that we did not want them and they were put on the house and shed anywaysThese complaints were made within a week of "completion" and we have only been belittled, harassed, and talked down to ever sinceWhen we have asked for a legible itemized list it has taken months and we still have not received oneWe have never signed a change of contract to add in the items that were placed on the roof even after we said no before installationThis owner seems to only care about what is placed on the Revdex.com and how a negative comment will look as he has begged for us to take it down without actually fixing the addressed issues, he has only placed Band-Aids on the issuesWe have waited almost eight months and nothing has changedWe do believe that after all the pain and suffering this has caused and the length of time along with verbal assault and harassment that we have received the money that has been paid should be enough especially since the work is still not done

Mrand Mrs***, We, once again, apologize for the attenuation of services to your residence. The Roswell hailstorm of caused city-wide delays and sure kept the industry and the city on their toes! Big Sky Roofing definitely takes responsibly for the low nails and a number of crooked shingles. We are listed with an A+ rating by the Revdex.com for reasons that, we feel, that are representative of a comprehensive and solid body of work. Many of our customers have felt compelled to write the Revdex.com with remarks indicative of positive experiences with our company. There is an interesting customer video from the *** (*** ***) *** on our website, ***. For years we have kept a strong relationship with several local realtors who have used our services for hundreds of jobs. We do not take these relationships for granted and are continually striving to please our customers. Attention and detail are of paramount concern. Our follow up trips to your residence to correct the sloppy work did lead to an eventual passed inspection. It is to our eternal chagrin that the passed inspection took so long. Why the same city department would choose to fail the same roof after passing it, seems incongruous, at best. It may be worth noting that the roof did not fail on any functional level; i.eleaks or post installation wind damage. We will continue to stand by our work and honor the contract/warranty. We like to respond in good faith throughout the duration of every job. The insurance has honored any out of pocket expense to you, such as satellite re-installation, and our offer of a $rebate towards the balance of your payment to us, still stands. We have always responded to any complaint that this woman has made we offered $off of her bill because of a complaints she still owes us $which she has not paid since the insurance company has paid her after their inspection of the roof.she has owed $well over five months.she wanted out of the contract after we had ordered the shingles .we upgraded the shingles and put high profile ridge cap on which now she is complaining about.Furthermore she wants to not have to pay the remainder of the bill even though the insurance company and the city has inspected the roof and passed it

We have had nothing but distress with this companyThis past summer of our roof was destroyed due to a bad hail storm
We were recommended to Big Sky Roofing by others and told we would love their workThis was far past wrongSince hiring Big Sky Roofing we have had nothing but problemsOriginally they were weeks late on delivery of the materials and then continued to be late on the laborThey upgraded the hips of the roof without consent or misinformed us about how things would lookThe roof itself has failed inspection multiple times and has yet to be inspected after this last attempt at "fixing" the problemsThe problems have included the roofing nails being exposed, the shingles were not spaced correctly, the metal flashing is not installed correctly and they removed our dish for our tv, reinstalled it, charged us for it and the dish no longer worked which resulted in us having to pay an extra amount to our tv provider to send someone out to fix itSince these issues we have had multiple problems with a worker here and there showing up without any heads up or communication for them just to be here 5-minutes and then leave againMy personal concerns come from not knowing if we will ever have a roof that will pass city code and that the person who was his contractor was just arrested for public intoxication and other offenses after the initial laborers had been caught by my husband and myself, drinking on the roof while working and hiding the bottles within the extra materialsWhen this issue was originally brought up to the owner the only thing he said was that if it were to happen again that the laborers would be docked $off of their payIt seems he has a tendency to not pay attention to who he is hiring or to at the very least come and personally address and issue when one had been made apparent.Due to the length of time and unpleasant conditions that we have been left with, after the company receiving $6,000.00, I would like to see the job done and done right without anymore issues and personally I would like to see the money that was paid to be returnedThe emotional stress this has caused has been too much for a roofI understand them getting the money for the materials but when we find out that the company has immensely over charged on materials and has refused an itemized listing of said materials I feel we are owed the full amount back with a roof that we were promised in the original contract
