We was able to come and inspect your home on 06/22/Upon our inspection, [redacted] the service tech showed Mrs [redacted] where the drain line was stopped up and all the other company did was clean out the drain line which is a issue with ac unitsThe extra drain areas on the pan was closed with mastic tape but due to a rodent issue in the attic, the tape was chewed off as well as some of the other areas in the atticThe drain pan sits at an angle so that the water drains to the main drain line, that's the line the company cleaned outThe angle of the pan gives the service techs the option of placement We are including pictures that describes the working area and it also shows the rodent feces and chew marks

I am rejecting this response because:I am going to start by saying this on 06/10/when I first call *** at I wasn't aware that she was the office manager but now I am, but anyway since she is I shouldn't have been directed to speak with a field tech it is obvious he wasn't going to have time to talk nor go back in forth on the phone but any way at the time I didn't know that so that is what I was doing for about day until I felt I was going no where trying to get them to understand what was done at my home since they didn't want to come back out here and since they claim and wanted to pretend they didn't know American home shield policy since they are under contract with them so I gave up when I saw they was trying to blame with the guy that came out here or the Rodents when it was very clear that on the paper work that it was there fault which *** didn't take back with him. Which by the way I wasn't informed that *** was going to be taken pictures in when he came which he did not have permissionI ask him what he was going to be doing he wanted to see the damages and what was done by the other tech. Which I felt it was too late to see what was done by the air conidtion because up there was going to be dry he couldn't see much and he didn't bring anything to see the real damages that was caused in the attic that was leading to the bathroom he did look down stairs in the master bath and saw the mold but from the records that I am now reading I guess he wanted to come get pictures and make up what he wantedFurther more to address him I didn't agree to anything that he said to me about anything I ask him what did he put up there he said foil and my though was that would hold water and he try to convience me where the rodents chewed and ate where the last tech was working up there before when he and I both was up there when he was fixing on all the open holes to cut and put plugs into the open drains that was left outI asked him why was part of the old pieces unit left up there was left up there from when he installed the new air condition unit he couldn't answer so I left it alone To address the Rodent issues that he is showing on the pictures that issues was addressed when he installed the air-condition the Orkin came out and treated my Attic for that and even after the fact *** had to come back out for more work on the unit and nothing else was said. After everyone that has went into my attic and with out me saying a word stated that the air condition unit wasn't installed rightBut I couldn't let the leak keep going because the company didn't want to come outso first thing in the morning I will send you the report I have and I did advise *** that I wanted to make sure that the unit is done right he said okay so with that said if he has made me aware that he sent picture of his work after he finish then he should have copies of those pictures so whey can't they provide those pictures on here not of someone else's work and not something that is old what they are trying to claim of rodents doing the damages which the chips that he see is what was done by the tech. And *** also advise me that he didn't know what could have happenhe said that water could have came thru pipes or leaked thru the opened drains and it was water in the trays which I saw myself. *** was at my house a every bit of minutes at the most so in a dark attic with a cell phone taking pictures after I turned my back. To me this company just don't want to take responsibility *** couldn't explain to me how rodents going to chew thru all that he is showing you in a picture if he states that he put what he say foil I guess and why would you put foil over something like that anyway when water will come seeping thru which I asked that question and called around everyone telling me they don't do that but I guess this company does. And Lastly I was also told that I declined a Floatswitch which would have stopped this if it would have been installed which AMHS don't cover I was told that *** should have told me about it which he didn't which *** stated that *** told her that I declined which I didn't so the truth did come out about that nobody never told me about so that tells me again that the still didn't do their jobIf I was told about of course I would have paid for itbut I will make sure MrsLinda that you get the fax

I am rejecting this response because: To address her saying that I should have turned off the system when I noticed the leak that is what I did which the damaged was done by then. Second I didn't pay for anyone to fix anything when this first happen which you have wrong information it was pointed when I noticed Mold was in my home in the bathroom where it was coming from after the inspection it lead up to the air condition if your company has been in business for years then *** him self would have one set up everything right from day one which the report I just sent to Revdex.com advise me that the Air condition ducts was not done right which he would have noticed when he came back but was in such a rush and only was trying to get pictures to try to put it on rodents and what you and your company are trying to say was a stopped up drain but at first you said that it was a Rodent problem that ate everything and that caused water to leak so my point again you don't have an idea what *** did when he installed this but the documents that I have sent to Revdex.com and ( Which I did give to *** and which he left at my home and didn't take when he left and I did show him where I did try to send your company a copy and it came back saying not able to send to the email you provided and he said don't worry about it. So to me it is kind of funny that companies are saying something totally different than you are and I didn't tell them anything except ask what is the problem and why I have a leak everything is going to back to ***. Further more *** is lying you about what took place in my home so to me why would send the same person that caused the problem in the first placeTo as you advised me that you had a senior person and that person was suppose to come if anything he or she would have came to take a look at *** work to what was done and wasn't or to look at the unit period and maybe they would have notice the air-condition ducts that he still did do right. So at this point you and your company are wrong you can say what you want and still try to blame me and try to tell me what I should have done but you can best believe at the end of the day even If we have to go to court you still haven't heard from me because this not my fault your company installed this unit and saying that I denied anything of a emergency switch when I wasn't here when he installed the unit and wasn't called as well which I can pull up my phone records and it will show thatand also I did ask and called AMHS as I was told by *** that he sent them pictures of his installation which he lied again. So this my home and there is no way I would have let a leak go on for 10mths and be aware of and for you say that you are assuming as well because once again you don't know what *** did or didn't do and he don't know either as per his conversation with me he is assumingwhich my question that I ask you still wasn't answered so that tells me there you or your company either don't know what you are doing using foil or nothing all I have no clue but I do know now not to trust you nor your company ever again and everyone will knowThis is far not right what you have done and not accepting responsibilityI am now going to get someone to come fix your mishaps at the beginning when I called AHS sent someone out. Before you say I did anything please get your story right *** and stop lying on meI am the customer and I only can go by what you and your company say and AHS at that timeAnd please get right *** didn't tell me about no emergency switch being installed or that need to be at all so basically you and your company trying to say it was AHS responsibly according to what I read in the policy and speaking them whoever does the installation knows what is covered and is suppose to let the client which you didn't.?Regards,

I directed Mrs*** to the service tech that installed the system that Mrs*** home warranty company provided our company with months ago because the tech would have better knowledge of what was doneMrs*** never contacted out company within that monthsIf Mrs*** noticed water leaking from her system then Mrs*** should have turned her system off and contacted her home warranty company to send out a service requestThe first call I received months later was from Mrs*** home warranty company stating that Mrs*** would be contacting out companyThat was all the information I received that day.The next day I (***) received a call from Mrs*** stating we were to repair the damage to her home because the home warranty company does not cover secondary damage.Myself (***) had no knowledge of what Mrs*** was talking about so I directed Mrs*** to the service tech that did the work so he could answer any questions Mrs*** may haveThe next day the home warranty company called on a way call with Mrs*** and explained that the home warranty company does not cover secondary damages so Mrs*** insisted our company was responsibleOn that call Mrs*** stated she had another ac company come to her home and make some repairsi (***) as well as the home warranty company asked Mrs*** to send a copy of the invoice to our officeOur office provided Mrs*** with the office fax number and e-mail addressOur company still has not received any paperwork from Mrs ***The service tech went out to Mrs*** home and showed Mrs*** where she had a stopped up drain line the the other company came and cleaned outMrs*** damage was caused by a stopped up drain line which is a common problem in many homesWith a maintenance plan this could have been preventedThe service tech that installed Mrs*** system has been in HVAC for yearsTo address the pictures the service tech tookThe pictures show where the drain line was accessed for cleaning and that she still has a rodent problemIt is impossible for the water to flow up hill in the drain panThe water would have flooded out of the drain pan before it ever reached the area that Mrs*** claims the water came fromAs far as the ac parts that Mrs*** is claiming was left in the atticThe service tech saw an old drain pan in the attic that was not from out installationOur company removes any leftover parts from out installsAfter review, no compensation will be addressed on the conclusion it was a stopped up drain line.Thank You*** ***
