Four Seasons Lawn Maintenance

Review: Mr. [redacted] and father (after my telephone call) came to reseed , fertilize and place "minimum" straw on the bare spots in my entire yard. He filled in with dirt one hole in front yard. I asked them to wet straw as wind was blowing. I noted from my wheelchair through windows he was not digging, scratching or tilling soil. I asked him why in middle of job as I always tilled first. He assured me seed and fertilizer would do. Nothing grew ever except over hole he filled in. I called numerous times. I was always put on delay. I called three times in September. He said he was busy and would come and reseed in October. I have not seen or heard from him and can't reach him by telephone.Desired Settlement: The return of $300.00 minimum

I used the best product I could get, spend 1/2 a day working with handheld thatcher, used 5 bales of straw. I do not guarantee the grass will grow. After I put down the grass seed, it is the consumer's responsibility to maintain the yard.

As my husband and I were unable to till the soil to plant grass, we hired Mr. [redacted]. I watched the whole time through front and rear windows. He was not tilling, only raking dead grass in spots. I immediately called him to front door to explain necessity of tilling hard red clay soil - even showed him the process by my neighbor. He claimed adamantly his seed and fertilizer would grow. He said he'd come back if we did not have success. Later I called him to back door as the straw he was strewing was blowing everywhere. He then watered very lightly.When he got check, he told me to let grass grow two weeks while watering. My husband complied then I called his father, his helper. He came over and said to let grow another two weeks. I then called again, and Mr. [redacted] said it was too late and to call back first of September. He said too busy and would come October first - no show and no answer to phone calls.We still need money returned to hire someone else.
