Review: I am new to California and don't know many people. Tonight at about 9:30 p.m I got locked out of the home my husband and I rent. Fours Seasons Management Group is the property manager. I was barefoot and did not have my cell phone. My husband is away. A kind neighbor let me use their phone. When I contacted the "property manager" his wife called back and informed me it was after hours and I needed to call a locksmith and then hung up on me. I should mention "the property manager" and his wife live very close to me. I've worked in property management and it is a 24 hour seven day a week job. It is the property manager's job to address the tenant's needs in a timely fashion.My husband and I have been renting a home from FSMG for seven months and it has been a nightmare. Their "property manager", is very incompetent and does not follow through with maintenance issues.They do not respond to emails, and on the rare occasions they do acknowledge your email, they do not address the issue.Desired Settlement: I want FSMG to deduct the price of the window, I had to break to enter my home, from our rent in June. There were no locksmiths available. I don't know the cost at this time.Unfortunately, they can't replace my piece of mind. Tonight I'll be sleeping in a home with an unsecured window.My husband is a Federal Agent and there are fire arms in our home. Even though, the fire arms are in a locked gun cabinet, FSMG has put me in harm's way. I can't leave my home until the window is replaced.

Company states:The lady complained that she made the phone call complaining that she was locked out. We answered the phone call. Under the lease agreement this is their responsibility when you get locked out. You need to get a locksmith to get yourself back. The lady began to use foul language with us so we hung up. Eventually we started to get her a call back and she would not call back. This is not the first time she locked herself. That was a courtesy. The second time she got locked out she decided to break the window. The window is not our responsibility. When she started call us names we cannot discuss anything. I have spoken to the husband and I have resolved this with him.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not use foul language towards the "property managers," I simply stated that they were not doing their jobs. Their statement that they attempted to call me several times is a blatant lie. There is no mention in our lease with Four Seasons Management Group (FSMG) in regard to a tenant lock out. If they as the "property managers" were out of town, they should of had someone on call to address tenant issues. The reason I was locked out was due to a faulty lock, which is FSMG's responsibility to have in working order. Yes, the wife "property manager" did let me in the house in the fall, however that was the one and only time FSMG has followed through on their word. My husband and I have fixed the window. It's not about the money it's about having my voice heard as a tenant. I feel other potential tenants should be aware of the manner in which, FSMG conducts business. Unfortunately, I have been involved with this firm since October 2014 when I moved into a filthy home. FSMG does not manage property. However, they are very good at collecting rent.Currently, there is an unfilled hole in our backyard which is a major safety hazard. FSMG has no logical plan to renovate the hole or they are simply not sharing it with us.
