Four Seasons Plumbing is very surprised to be getting this complaint. This is the first we have heard of it.  We wish Ms. [redacted] would have called our office to discuss this with us before involving the Revdex.com so we could talk to her directly.  Our Customer’s satisfaction is ABSOLUTELY...

our first concern! In August of 2010, we excavated and installed a new 1" CTS main water line from Ms. [redacted]'s existing shut off valve near the street all the way down to her home.  We clearly stated in our proposal, which she acknowledged by signing the agreement, that in order to run her new line, we would have to saw cut her black top drive way, but we would re-cement her driveway when new line had been run, which we did.  She paid us in full almost immediately, and we were under the impression she was satisfied with our work.  We actually charged her $200.00 less than the proposal total. The job went better than we thought it would so we passed that savings on to her. We were under no obligation to do that. It is a gesture that is almost unheard of in these times,  she had already agreed to our original proposal total. There was no agreement to pay her $900.00 to re-black top or deduct $900.00 from our proposal because she wanted to re-black top her driveway. Again it clearly stated in our proposal that we would re-CEMENT her drive way when the new line had been run.  In July of 2015, we were asked to replace her main shut off valve at the street, which we did. We installed a new curb stop for her and she requested that we supply her with a curb stop key so that she could turn her main line on and off at the street.  A new curb stop (or main shut off valve) was not installed in 2010 when we replaced her main water line, nor was it part of our plumbing proposal. At the end of this past March, she called and scheduled us to come out and check her shut off valve. She said it had “froze-up” and wouldn’t turn. Her daughter was at her home and was unable to turn the water on to her house.  We arrived at her house and found that the main shut off valve to her house was working properly, and turned freely for our plumber.  No problem at all.  She later called our office and told us that she thought her daughter had been trying to turn on the wrong valve, and that was why her water would not turn on.  We charged her our minimum service call fee for going out there.  Just like any other business, we have overhead costs that we have to consider. We had to pay our plumber to go to her house, had to pay truck payments, truck insurance, gas and overhead charges.  I think that Ms. [redacted] felt that our last visit to her home was for an oversight that our company made. In reality, it was a mistake that her daughter had made and left her to pay the bill. I don't think that she feels she should have to pay for her daughter’s mistake.  We warranty all of our parts and labor for one years’ time against poor workmanship and/or faulty parts.  This clearly didn’t not fit into either of those categories I wish were able to look the other way and not charge our customers when silly mistakes like this one are made, but we can't. As I stated above, we have overhead, just like everyone else.  Unfortunately Ms. [redacted] still owes for this service call.
