Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] I do not entirely agree with MrC [redacted] 's response I called a couple of weeks after the unit was initially installed and said there were issues with humidity His response was something like, "What do you want me to do about it." I was rather "dumbstruck by his response and told him I have never had humidity issues before and that it had to be the new system that he installed He sent his son out who was very pleasant and professional about the problem and said that they would make sure it was taken care of no matter how long it took He added "Freon" and said that could be the problem to wait a few days and see I did and the issue wasn't resolved They finally replaced the ton with a ton, since I thought that had to be the issue since all the research I did said the unit was too big for my square footage(They did not replace the air handler for the new ton heat pump.) That did not solve the problem and I have had many issues as stated in my first complaint It was the end of the summer season when the ton unit was put ii and I didn't really want to have to deal with MrC [redacted] 's rudeness any more, so I decided to see if it would be okay in the seasonIt was not I called in the beginning of June and he was rude againI had to cancel the first appointment because [redacted] was going to have the electric off in my neighborhood on the day he was supposed to come He said they would get back with me He did notMy brother-in-law had someone he knew in the business (my brother in law is a contractor) call me The man who called me knew MrC [redacted] and said he would talk to himFinally Four Seasons returned my call and left a message setting up a time He came and apparently knocked twice, didn't ring the doorbell, and we didn't answer because we did not hear him knock, so he left I called the number on the card he left and left a message asking for a response They never called me back until today I asked if they called because I had filed a complaint with Revdex.com, and the secretary acted as if she knew nothing about the Revdex.com complaintThey scheduled an appointment for September That is over three months since my original call in June (Also, he still owes me $for taking the ton out and replacing it with a ton - A ton unit is less expensive Also, I got an extra return (huge metal box next to) the new air handler to make certain, according to MrC [redacted] , that the ton unit would work at maximum efficiency That cost me an additional $I can not show you the paper work, because Four Seasons did not leave any except a small bookletHis response said he didn't know if I had humidity issues before I have repeatedly told him the humidity issues did not start until after he installed the unit I keep the air conditioning off whenever possible so the humidity is lower in my condo The only time it is high is when the air conditioning is on or when I have it off with the windows open and it is raining and humid outside I have never had as much trouble from a business owner as I have from MrC [redacted] Four Seasons tries to ignore me and the problem and only calls and sets up an appointment after someone contacts him about my complaint Four Seasons is very difficult to deal with and it is very uncomfortable trying to get this problem solved I'd almost prefer it if he would return my money and get this equipment out of my house I would get a more professional company to come and replace my unit [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] Four Seasons has only been here once this summer on 9/6/ Not twice as stated I have lived here over twenty years and I know when there is a problem that I haven't had before and started only after the new unit was installed As far as the mold goes, he only checked one vent in the dining room He didn't even go upstairs I now frequently check for mold, and do not allow it to remain in my house just to show MrC [redacted] The water heater did not have a leak, it was condensation running/dripping down from the metal pipes into the top of the unit (electrical housing) The dripping from the metal pipes in the basement laundry started after the unit was installed MrC [redacted] sent me a check for $100.00, and I returned the check since it wasn't the correct amountAs stated in previous response, he was here when the air conditioner wasn't on, it was cool and rainy weather and my windows were open, sure seems like a low reading for that type of weather and no air conditioning And the Chris I am referring to doesn't work for Four Seasons, he works for [redacted] and he called Dennis to discuss this matter MrC [redacted] told Chris I was a "bh", that is the type of treatment I have received from MrC [redacted] [redacted]

Four Seasons never stated they had been at customers residence twice in 2017 - dates were 9-6-17 and 8-12-16. Was no reason for Four Seasons to go to second floor because customer stated she was only having problem on plastic first floor vents she had installed. A air conditioner is a dehumidifier and does not produce moisture or cause water to drip from anywhere. Four Seasons has refunded 200.00 with a copy of original invoice that customer signed on 6-2-2016 that has warranty information on invoice. Again Four Seasons has only discussed customers installation internally only between Dennis and Jeff C [redacted] . Unfortunally whoever this Chris person is or whatever his motive might be he is a liar and that also means he's lying about the b word too because Four Seasons as a Christion company doesn't use foul language. Four Seasons has offered customer another free year of labor warranty. Four Seasons is sorry for problems customer thinks she is having but has found nothing mechanically wrong with equipment or installation. Customer could contact equipment manufactor? Sincerely, Dennis C [redacted]

Follow up from visit on 9-6-and previous visit on 8-12-both by Jeff C***On both visits have never seen evidence of high humidity0n 9-6-using our humidity tester humidity was at 54%Per homeowner mold [ if mold ] was only on plastic floor vents first floor and not metal ones second floorNo evidence of anything on 9-6-Drywall tape that was loose was only spot per homeowner and this was on a outside wall - could be numorous causesHot water heater issue was probably caused by a leak at heating element in electrical compartmentbut she had replaced so nothing for Four Seasons to seeHomeowner says she knows we talked to Chris about this ? Have no Chris working at Four Seasons and never have- Four Seasons has only discuss this issue between Jeff and Dennis C***Four Seasons has refunded for equip size differenceSorry for the problems homeowner thinks they are having but Four Seasons has seen evidence of none - on 9-6-service tech checked operation , Freon charge that was good and equipment is working as it shouldSincerely, Dennis C*** 9-23-

Response to customers second complaint - Four Seasons has never responsed negatively to a customer or we wouldn't have been in business over yrs or have a Aplus rating with the Revdex.comAfter initially installing a 1/ton o/d unit Four Seasons changed back to a ton o/d unitSystem installed presently matches existing system before replacementFour Seasons has never talked to anyone other then Miss *** about her installationFour Seasons secretary knew nothing of complaint because they is no reason for her to knowMiss *** has never mentioned owing her any money except for in this complaint - Four Seasons will refund - difference between 1/and Four Seasons added no duct [ huge metal box?] - we added a return grill to return drop that was included in quoteAir conditioners do not produce humidity they remove humidity and cool and have to run to do this - we call this their duty timeFour Seasons has returned Miss *** calls anytime she has calledFour Seasons has scheduled a appointment on 9-between -and if any equipment problems will repair at no cost to Miss ***Sincerely, Dennis C***

MrC*** sent his son out to check the unitHe came on a cool day (week) and the air conditioning had not been on for several days. I mentioned that it would not be an accurate measurement since I had not used the A.C. He turned it on for around five minutes and tested the humidity with one of his gauges and pointed out that his read lower than mine by a few percentages(I only bought the gauge after MrC*** asked why I thought the humidity was high, which I told him the many reasons and he asked me what I wanted him to do about it. Fixing it would have been expected.) He checked the readings on the "Freon" and said it was fine. He also put insulation around two metal tubes on the heat pump that hadn't been done when they switched out units. He told me he would get back to me in the next few days. The secretary called back to tell me that they found nothing wrong with the unit. I told her that it wasn't a "apples to apples" sort of test since it was cool and my air conditioning hadn't been on for several daysI told her that the son had mentioned to me that he should probably come back when it's warmer. She said he told her everything was okayI told her that it was unacceptable and she said she was sorry(We had a longer conversation, but we basically repeated the same things in different words.)I didn't even need a gauge to initially alert me to the humidity in my house. I had mold growing in my vents, doors not closing due to wood swelling, aluminum pipes dripping in the part of my basement where they are exposed (which makes me think anything metal covered by my ceiling would also be sweating and dripping), etc. INow that they have waited so long before even coming out, I am concerned that they are going to tell me the warranty has expired. I let him know in June that I was having problems and they did not get out here until September. Also, he send me a $check for the difference between a and 1/ton unit. I am returning his check since the amount I am owed is $200.00.If you need any further information, please let me knowThank you, *** ***

Regards,
[redacted] All I can say is that I never had moisture problems before the new unit was put in and I do now. There is no other plausible reason, other than the new unit, for my moisture issues. I have to get this issue resolved, because it is damaging my home.If Mr. C[redacted] wants to call his company a "Christian" business, that's his business. However, his treatment of me and the lie about not talking to Chris - Chris called me and asked if he could call Dennis to discuss the issue, doesn't mesh with my understanding of "Christian" and religion is something that I don't use as a defense.

I received no documentation from Four Seasons.  The only thing that was left at my home is an Installer's Guide.  I have asked Mr. C[redacted] several times for the paperwork and so far it has not arrived.  I can probably get a copy of the payment from my VISA account if that will help.  Four Seasons information is:  3715 Todds Run Road, Williamsburg, Ohio 45176,  513-528-2595. [redacted]

Regards,
[redacted] I disagree with several things stated. I called immediately after I found the card stating they'd been there and I didn't answer the door and did not get a response.  I also know that he talked to Chris regarding my problem. I know that air conditioning is supposed to remove humidity, so why doesn't the one Mr. C[redacted] installed remove the humidity - I will see what they do on Wednesday.  If they continue to say nothing is wrong when clearly something is not right, I will not accept that the matter is resolved. Personally I am wondering how they have an A rating with Revdex.com.  I can't imagine I'm the first person who Mr. C[redacted] has been rude to.

Regards,
[redacted] I do not entirely agree with Mr. C[redacted]'s response.  I called a couple of weeks after the unit was initially installed and said there were issues with humidity.  His response was something like,  "What do you want me to do about it."  I was rather "dumbstruck by his response and told him I have never had humidity issues before and that it had to be the new system that he installed.  He sent his son out who was very pleasant and professional about the problem and said that they would make sure it was taken care of no matter how long it took.  He added "Freon" and said that could be the problem to wait a few days and see.  I did and the issue wasn't resolved.  They finally replaced the 2.5 ton with a 2 ton, since I thought that had to be the issue since all the research I did said the unit was too big for my square footage. (They did not replace the air handler for the new 2 ton heat pump.) That did not solve the problem and I have had many issues as stated in my first complaint.  It was the end of the summer season when the 2 ton unit was put ii and I didn't really want to have to deal with Mr. C[redacted]'s rudeness any more, so I decided to see if it would be okay in the 2017 season. It was not.  I called in the beginning of June and he was rude again. I had to cancel the first appointment because [redacted] was going to have the electric off in my neighborhood on the day he was supposed to come.  He said they would get back with me.  He did not. My brother-in-law had someone he knew in the business (my brother in law is a contractor) call me.  The man who called me knew Mr. C[redacted] and said he would talk to him. Finally Four Seasons returned my call and left a message setting up a time.  He came and apparently knocked twice, didn't ring the doorbell, and we didn't answer because we did not hear him knock, so he left.  I called the number on the card he left and left a message asking for a response.  They never called me back until today.  I asked if they called because I had filed a complaint with Revdex.com, and the secretary acted as if she knew nothing about the Revdex.com complaint. They scheduled an appointment for September 6.  That is over three months since my original call in June.  (Also, he still owes me $250. for taking the 2.5 ton out and replacing it with a 2 ton - A 2 ton unit is less expensive.  Also, I got an extra return (huge metal box next to)  the new air handler to make certain, according to Mr. C[redacted], that the 2.5 ton unit would work at maximum efficiency.  That cost me an additional $100.00. I can not show you the paper work, because Four Seasons did not leave any except a small booklet. His response said he didn't know if I had humidity issues before.  I have repeatedly told him the humidity issues did not start until after he installed the unit.  I keep the air conditioning off whenever possible so the humidity is lower in my condo.  The only time it is high is when the air conditioning is on or when I have it off with the windows open and it is raining and humid outside.   I have never had as much trouble from a business owner as I have from Mr. C[redacted].  Four Seasons tries to ignore me and the problem and only calls and sets up an appointment after someone contacts him about my complaint.  Four Seasons is very difficult to deal with and it is very uncomfortable trying to get this problem solved.  I'd almost prefer it if he would return my money and get this equipment out of my house.  I would get a more professional company to come and replace my unit. [redacted]

Response to complaint - Four Seasons installed a American Standard 2 1/2 ton heat pump system - previously had a 2 ton but we felt unit needed 2 1/2 ton - in June of 2016. After only a few weeks customer complained about issues that Four Seasons has no idea if preexisting or not but we knew in...

customers mind unit was too big so we switch out back to the 2 ton size. After switching out unit to 2 ton Four Seasons heard no more about issues in 2016. Received a call in June ? 2017 would have to check call records- about humidity issues. Knowing that Four Seasons had installed same size unit that was in residence before we told customer that it couldn't be sizing issue but would check out in a few weeks. Four Seasons made a appointment for July the 20th between 8 and 10. Arrived at 8:10 and after knocking twice with no answer left card in door and moved on to next call. Four Seasons will try customer again and set up appointment to see if equipment is operating correctly. Sincerely, Dennis C[redacted]
