Four Star Service of Albany

I hired Wade S to fix a cooler in my restaurant. He is from Four Star Service of Albany, inc. He came to the restaurant and was there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. He kept saying it could be this or this etc....he ended up saying he found a block and fixed it. He charged me $600.00. He asked that The check be made out to his name. He left and not 10 minutes later the cooler stopped working again. I called him back and he said it would cost another $400.00 and there was no guarantee. I asked him to give me a receipt for the work he had already done since he didnt give me one before he left and he said "no", that I should use the cancelled check as the receipt. I tried to stop payment on the check, but he must have ran to the bank with it because he had already cashed it. I have tried to call him but he will not answer my calls now.I had to hire a legitimate company to fix the cooler the next day.I have a receipt for that.
