Re: #[redacted]To Whom It May Concern,This letter Is In response to Mr.[redacted]'s  letter dated February 16,2015 regardlng a complaint filed against his company,4 Star Transit. We dispute the claim Mr. [redacted] has made regarding the wrong address being given to him and causing him to get lost. The address  was given to him when the arrangements were made for shuttle service to LA. This address was correct, and was given to him by Mrs. [redacted],a travel agent who lives In LA and knows the area well. It is not the passengers' responsibility to provide the driver of the service with a GPS system or with directions. The shuttle service should have procedures in place which assist them in doing their job more efficiently. We dispute the claims that Mr. [redacted] made as to the $60 tip being optional. The tip was NOT optional. As a matter of fact,he had the group pay $60,$30 of It for the way up to LA,and $30 as a pre-payment for the trip back from LA. If in fact it was optional,he would not have set a number or made us prepay it.
As for the claims Mr.[redacted] made against Mrs. [redacted], she never yelled or used profane language, and as a matter of fact,Mr. [redacted] never hung up on her.   Why he would want to say that he did something  as unprofessional as that, is questionable. In addition, Mr.[redacted] was very unprofessional and negligent In leaving It to the group to resolve the shuttle issue. It was very difficult to get an honest answer from Mr. [redacted],as hewas very evasive and not forth right as to the ETA of his driver. The group had already been waiting well over an hour when his driver was finally kind enough to tell Mrs. [redacted] that he was still 1 1/2 hours away.and it was then the choice was made to cancel Mr. [redacted]'s services and set a refund and hire another shuttle service. As for the $580 refund that was given to the group for services not rendered, the group reluctantly accepted the number because Mr.[redacted] said that was all that he was going to pay,a take It or leave It deal, and so the thought of getting some money back now was better than getting nothing at all, and the group would try to recover the rest of the money at a later date. The group paid Mr. [redacted] $855 for the shuttle service from LA to Chula VIsta. Though it was his negligence,he only refunded $580. The group requests he pay the balance of$275.
Sincerely,

[redacted]

Review: 1/07/2015Revdex.coms4747 Viewridge Ave #200 San Diego, Ca 92123To Whom It May Concern,In November of 2014, [redacted] contacted [redacted] the owner of 4 StarTransit Inc., located on 954 E. J. Street in Chula Vista, Ca 91910. [redacted] made roundtriptransportation arrangements through the service shuttle from Chula Vista to a Los Angeleshotel, La Hacienda and from the Los Angeles Airport to Chula Vista. The group includedthirteen people travelling from Chula Vista to Los Angeles and eleven from Los Angeles to ChulaVista. The cost would be $75 per person each way.On December 6th, [redacted] and the shuttle met the _group in Chula Vista and took them toLos Angeles. Prior to le·aving,_ [redacted] paid [redacted] the amount of $1800plus a tip of $60 he demanded for the drivers for the round trip shuttle service. She also gave[redacted] instructions in writing as to the flight number (#5 HAL), the flight arrival (6:30AM), when and where to pick the group up on Dec. 18th, and they exchanged phone numbers. He instructed [redacted] to call him upon arrival. On December 18th, [redacted] called [redacted] to inform him the group had arrived. He told her he would call her back. When he called, he informed her that the shuttle hadbroken down, to be patient, and that the shuttle would be picking the group up at 8 AM. Theshuttle never arrived. [redacted] called [redacted] and he gave her the shuttle driver'snumber so she could call him directly. She called the driver but the connection made itimpossible to understand him. At which time she called [redacted] two or more times tryingto find out when the shuttle would arrive. He kept insisting she call the shuttle driver. Mr.[redacted] stopped answering her calls. At which time, [redacted] asked [redacted],the travel agent, to call [redacted]. Then he answered saying that the shuttle was on its wayand almost there. Meanwhile, [redacted] was able to contact the driver ofthe shuttlewhich told her that he was 1 ~hours away. At that time, [redacted] told [redacted]who was still on the phone with [redacted], that the group did not want his services anymoreand that they wanted a refund.[redacted] was asked to refund the group the $855 that was prepaid to him on Dec. 6th forthe shuttle service from Los Angeles to Chula Vista, but he only refunded $580 which includedthe tip. We feel that he should have refunded what was paid to him. After all, it was hiscompany that was not able to honor the arrangements.Because 4 Star Transit could not keep their agreements, another shuttle from another companyhad to be hired to take the group to Chula Vista. This cost an additional $385 to the group. Wefeel [redacted] should reimburse us for this cost as well, being that it was his negligencewhich forced us to contract another shuttle. We are reporting this so that other potential travelers do not encounter the same issues with 4Star Tansit Inc. [redacted] was very deceitful and unprofessional. w ·e were verydisappointed in his service.Desired Settlement: Refund
