We received a request to look the clients stove on 8/11/ We charge $to come and diagnose our clients appliances That charge has nothing to do with any part of the repair and is only waived if the whole job is completed by us When *** went there to diagnose the
stove, he found it completely filthyHe diagnosed the problem and requested that the client CLEAN the stove before he came back to install the parts into the stove to complete the repair Upon his return he went to the breaker box and turned the power off to the stove which made it safe to work on and ensured there were NO LIVE WIRES!!! He then started to do the installation but found it very hard to do due to the fact that the stove wasn't thoroughly cleaned It still had a large amount of grease and debris on and around the screws which he needed to remove to install the new parts Due to this it was taking him way longer than the time normally required for the repair He requested an additional $for labor from her and she acted like it was a thousand dollars He was already there for close to hours at this point He told her that if she didn't want him to complete the job that he could take his parts off and she wouldn't be responsible for anymore money since she had already paid the service fee She told him to take his parts off and leave which he did but he lest the breaker off to make sure that there were NO SAFETY HAZARDS It is completely unreasonable for people to expect us to not get any more money for repairs that are hindered by there mess! He could have requested near $more since this is about what the industry charges for an hour of service, but he was trying to be nice and gave her a discount We have been in business for nearly years and have always prided ourselves on honesty and reasonable pricing We ALWAYS TRY TO PLEASE OUR CLIENTS, but it isn't always possible Her stove wasn't working when we got there and hadn't been for quite sometime which is what she told our scheduler We did leave the wires loose, but we did so so that the next person would easily be able to complete the job which was explained to her We DID NOT LEAVE HER WITH A HAZARD and most definitely didn't leave her in worse shape then she was already in! We therefore feel that due to the facts that we properly diagnosed the problem with the stove, requested that the stove be cleaned so we could install the parts in a timely manor which is was not, and attempted to complete the job but couldn't due to this disagreement that we don't need to refund the service charge

*** went out there and replaced the part on her refrigeratorHe told her it would take a while for her refrigerator to coolShe called the next day and *** went out to take a lookHe found that the coils were not doing what they needed to doHe told her refrigerator isn’t worth fixing and
that there is a Freon leakHe tested her compressor by putting a start kit on it, and the compressor turned on, that means it was not the issueWe wanted to save the woman money and in order to definitely 100% tell her it was a Freon leak, you have to put a piercing valve which is an additional cost, and we didn’t feel it was necessary to charge her for thatYou can also tell if you know what you’re doing by observing the lines and touching them, which *** did*** told her if she got a second opinion and if they told her the refrigerator does not need Freon, we would reimburse herEven in the text of the complaint, she admits itShe states *** stated she need refrigerant, which is FreonNo refund is due

*** went to Ms*** home to look at the appliance which wasn't presenting a problem at time of serviceThere is NO WAY to know exactly what is going on for sure when the appliance isn't doing what the customer says is the problem***
advised the customer that there could bee something in the pumpHe took the machine apart and found nothing in the pump(the part that she says isn't in her machine)All washers have a drain pump, that is how the water is removed from the drumHe found nothing in it at that timeHe told her that if the machine acts up again that it could be her control board since that is the other possible cause of the symptom she told us ofThere are a few reasons that a machine won't spinThe most common is a restriction in or a bad water pump which is why that is what was checked first "taking apart a machine to check it out involves labor." The customer says *** told her that it was definitely the control boardhe denies thathe told her that if it keeps acting up that is what is wrongThe fact that it never happened again only means that his original thought of a restriction in the water pump was rightIt is not unusual for something to get stuck in the water pump and work its way out laterThis is more then likely what happened*** couldn't stay in business for well over years if he was as she says a ScammerWe are sorry she is unhappy with the fact that there was nothing else to be done with her applianceI would think that she would be happy that she didn't need another partA service was provided and no refund is warranted

I am rejecting this response because: The company is just repeating what I stated in my complaintMr *** only wanted and insisted on putting the Freon inI told Mr*** about seeing a video on my refrigerator repair and mention to him about if the Freon was needed it had a leak and the Freon would not truly fix the problem and a waste of monies

We have received and reviewed the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted].  We strive to provide excellent customer service and it appears that Ms. [redacted] is not satisfied with our company.  Although we did everything that we were suppose to do within our service, we are providing Ms. [redacted]...

with the refund of $65 which she has requested.  The $65 is a standard charge for us (any with most other companies) to come out and evaluate the problem.  If we service the appliance, the $65 is credited towards the balance of our services. We regret that she was dissatisfied with the services we provided to her.

We do not have an employee named [redacted], his name is [redacted]. We don't have a reason to call anyone until the part is in. [redacted] told him 5-7 weeks but it could come in sooner. The customer paid $100 deposit, $65 was the service fee so we are willing to refund the $35 he requested. If he had contacted us...

to cancel his order we would have refunded at that time. We have no problem with him changing his mind but he NEVER reached out to us just to the Revdex.com first.
