Fowler's Roofing & Construction

This is an update: I hired them to do an apartment building roof a few years ago. They'd come highly recommended so we were surprised with the mess they left behind, as well as only completing 60% or so of the work they agreed on. There was shingle package paper hanging from a tree that we weren't able to retrieve, which hung there for a year. My request was simple: Please give me an estimate for everything that needs to be done NOW and that will need to be done within the next 3-4 years. They gave me a price which I agreed on. Unfortunately, after getting a view of the roof from another contractor that had to do some work up there it was revealed that they left quite a bit of roof. (30% or more). I assume they ran out of time or ran over budget and decided that because it was three stories and I would never have an opportunity to see the work, they could get away with leaving a lot of the work undone. Furthermore, it's taken me nearly two years to get a meaningful response out of them. The owner or manager simply gave me an estimate to finish. No apologies, no explanation for why they promised one thing and delivered about half of it. They are quite obviously not an ethical organization. I've been in the real estate business for nearly two decades, having dealt with forty or more contractors and this ranks as the most dissatisfactory consumer experiences I've had to date.

Follow-up: June 2023. We are about to sell the building and the inspector sent a drone up to look at the roof and sure enough about a third of the roof needs to be completely replaced. Fowler's Roofing is now an official "persona non grata" of Southern Angel Properties and the LaVoie family

Recently bought a home. I was having issues as the roof had not been cleaned up prior snow was not coming off. Design of roof part of the issue. I called to get estimate on several things in need of attention. First shoveling that cost me $750. I spoke with someone in office as I was handing the check. I was told Fowler did everything. I made an appointment one month later the estimator shows up. One of the reasons they were called was the roof. He never went any where near the roof. He went around looked at the items in need of attention then told me to call another company when it came to insulation for basement. Told me I would get an estimate for the rest in 2 weeks. Never got a thing thank you for wasting my time and boasting how great you are but you really aren't apparently.

We are extremely impressed with fowlers roofing. The entire process from start to finish was a great experience. From the very start of the estimating process to dealing with the office staff and the crew performing the work.
The job was completed in a timely fashion from the start of completing the contract to having the job completed.
While I was not home when the job was completed I could see the work being done on my security cameras and its great to know that the quality of work being done was top notch without having to be there.
Fowlers roofing was also the most competitive company in my area for the exact same work to be completed.
We are very satisfied with fowlers roofing and the whole staff that was involved in this transaction and would highly recommend them in the future.

Fowler's installed shutters and painted a window frame in a quick, professional manner. They have done other work for us that was satisfactory except for repeated scheduling delays. We would have given them 5 stars except they do not communicate delays in scheduling work. Once we get their attention, work progresses quickly.

I recently had a standing seem metal roof installed, It looks great and great company to work with.

The day I signed the quote the job was completed.

Had them put joist hangers and cement pads under posts of rear deck. House is old / 1938. They also installed 4 concrete frost-free piers under support posts of the covered porch, with metal brackets for vertical support and to stop uplift.
They did a good job; completed in a couple of days, but didn't get there till several months after the
original estimate was done. Business is busy, I guess. They do construction, not just roofing

Great company to work with. Their level of customer service is excellent. The teams of workers sent to our house were always polite and aware of their surroundings. Cleanup was a daily part of their work. In office communications are most often followed with attention to what must be done to complete the job.

I called Fowler's Roofing when I discovered I had a leak by my vent in the roof. Their estimator came and was very thorough and knew what he was doing. Within a week, two crew came and fixed the problem. They went over my entire roof and found some other issues that I will have to deal with in the spring. I would highly recommend them.

Had to go to court to prevent a lien. Didn't complete about a third of the work and what they did do, was very shoddy. I payed them for the work they completed but they still wanted the full contract amount regardless. Didnt realize until after I payed them just how shoddy the work was. Would have sued them to redo the work but didn't have the funds to pursue it.

Fowler Roofing ,where do I start.first of all, I'd like to say their roofers did a good job and were professional and courteous.the one gripe I have is they told me they would start the job in September ,but didn't get here until April.It wouldn't have been a big deal but I had removed some skylights and shingles anticipating their arrival the next week.I had to endure the whole winter with tarps on my roof.the most frustrating thing was being told over and over again, it will be a couple weeks.they even showed up one day and left a trailer,two days later the trailer was gone,still no roofers.not very professional.It was a small job,you would think they could have helped me out considering my situation.I would not use them again,and would not recommend them to anyone.one more thing,I had to initiate contacting them,they never called me to explain anything,again not very professional.

Fowlers Roofing just replaced my 10 year old roof. The original contractor did not install it properly and gave me a bit of a run around ( for 10 years!). No other company wanted to look at it. The roofers blamed the chimney, the chimney guys blamed the roof. I finally found a company that did both. Fowler's pointed out the problems immediately when they came to do the estimate. Although I do agree with some reviews that communication was a bit off, the crew was polite and cleaned up as best they could (it was snowing at the time). The office staff was always a pleasure to deal with and for the first time in 10 years, my roof is not leaking! I would recommend them to friends and family members and I hope to have them out again to do some finishing work on the soffits and the chimney.

Had an absolutely positive experience with Fowler's Roofing. They did a fabulous job putting a new shingle roof on my trailer. They were there when they said they would be, I didn't even have to be there. In and out in 2 days. They stripped off old roof and cleaned up 100% after. Estimate was right on. Price was right and great people to deal with. Thanks Fowlers! I'd recommend you in a heartbeat!

Fowler Roofing gave me a quote on a leaking roof, leading to a contract signed 9/12/17. I was promised that the job would be done within a "week or two". My roof continues to leak with Fowler's making numerous promises but not showing up. I have asked several times for the owner but not available. Now if I leave a message, get no call back, or if I get someone just more promises and as of today 12/5/17, still no show.

The last storm we had, I had some roof damage. Fowler’s came right out and quoted me $700. They were here for 30 minutes from the time they drove in with their van to the time they left. They only used less than one pack of shingles (which I had already told them I had in my garage, they refused to use them). I figured the bill for services would be lower than the quote because it was obvious, there wasn’t as much damage as they originally thought. Very disappointed.

I recently had Fowler’s Roofing put on a new standing seam metal roof onto my home built in 1950. Being an older house and built by the original owner it has a few quirks. The crew was on site early Monday morning and worked tirelessly all week to install the roof. The results are fantastic. The house looks great and it I know it is well protected. The crew was very good to work with and answered all my questions. I would wholeheartedly recommend Fowler’s Roofing for any and all roofing needs.
