Fowlers Roofing had called Mr. [redacted] on 04/27/2015 to see if he has had any leaking since his initial complaint. As we have had many rain storms in this area, we wanted to see if he still had any leaking. At this time he said he could not answer that question. As he feels we have not had enough...
rain. Fowler’s said that we would gladly come out and take a look on a day that there is rain to see if there is anything that may have been overlooked. During his first complaint of a leak, Fowler’s had sent out the foreman of the crew that had installed the roof to meet with Mr. [redacted]. He had stated to Mr. [redacted] that his house has a lot of snow and ice causing ice to back up. This will cause leaking if not cleared off the roof. Fowler’s had given him a price to remove the snow and ice dams; Mr. [redacted] declined and said he would remove it himself. I am enclosing photos of the roof with the snow and ice buildup. Fowler’s Roofing serviced hundreds of customers this winter season for snow and ice removal as the state of Maine had a very aggressive winter. That caused many people to experience leaks, even some which had building collapse. I had also spoken with Mr. [redacted] regarding the installation set up, in the letter sent to the Revdex.com it states that we did the installation without consent. We had called and spoken with [redacted], his wife to see if they would like us to install the roof as we had some good days to work with. She at that time gave us the go ahead to do the work. Fowler’s has been in business over 15 years and have provided installation during the winter season. Mr. [redacted] stated that the owner of Fowler’s refuses to inspect the property. I had sent the company estimator, as he inspects all the roofs for the company on a daily basis. Our representative also stated to Mr. [redacted] that there was ice and snow back up.
I apologize for the delay of the end cap. The employee that was installing the PC of the cap had to go on medical leave. He has returned back to work and I will send him out the week of October 5th to get this resolved.

October 30, 2015 [redacted] had called regarding a leak. Fowler’s Roofing went
and viewed the situation. After doing a full roof inspection we
noticed the vent...
pipe was broken,as we had large amounts of rain and wind that had caused
this to happen. We had talked to [redacted] regarding the window flashing. The
window is not properly installed as it is built into the roof. There is evidence that this same area
has had problems/leaks in the past as there is large amounts of tar that had been placed on the window and
across the flashing. Fowler’s Roofingdid all of the standard procedures installing the shingle
roof. The correct roofing material such as the ice and water shield, new drip edge, pipe boot, underlayment and
new shingles was installed. Knowing that there is an issue at this time. We recommend having this
area corrected by taking off the siding around the window and custom make new flashing and adding some
clear sealer. Fowler’s Roofing is
willing to work with [redacted]. We had sent her a proposal to repair the
flashing under the window and to fix the stink pipe. Fowler’s will include the interior sheetrock repair
as well. Fowler’s would like [redacted] to agree to the exterior repairs so that future storms will not
