My fiancé ( [redacted] ) and myself joined Sunsational Tan on Chili Ave in Rochester NY for a month membership prior to vacation At the time we joined they never once told us that they were going to be closing for remodeling We were only able to use the membership for a week and a half and they closed several times before they officially closed It has now been months and trying to receive a refund and they are still closed

I signed up for a tanning membership (the sun club) in the beginning of April but paid in cash for the first paymentI was told they could input my credit card information into their system for future billingThe owner was there and the girl helping me was confused on how to do that so he had her write down my credit card number, expiration date and security code in a notebookI am not sure if that information was ever put into the system or not because I never got billed because they closed after I got to tan times with absolutely no noticeThe owner posted on their Facebook about the remolding in a very unprofessional way and the way he spoke to other customers I found very offendedHe stated he refuses refunds so that's dollars I will not see because I feel uncomfortable going to a business where the owner speaks with such disrespect and is not taking the right steps to run a successful businessThe remolding has now taken months with no word for customers that do want

On April 8th (that's the day the $was posted to my charge card) I bought a visit membership at Sunsational Tan A few days later I went back to tan and there was a note on the door saying they were closed for remodeling It has been closed ever since I called and left a message asking that they contact me when they reopened, and I haven't heard from them I've been stopping by at least weekly to see if they've reopened but they haven't There is a note on the door saying that they'll extend customer's memberships by the length of time they are closed, but that doesn't help me I specifically bought these visits to keep the tan I got in Florida in March Extending doesn't apply to me I want a refund I prorated the visits because I did tan once when I bought the visits, so I'm due a refund of $ I sent them a letter to request a refund and am anxious to see if they'll reply but even if they do I think you should be aware of their horrible customer service

In February we signed up for 6mos membershipIn that time the salon has been what they consider remodelingThe salon should be completely closed due to drywall dust and debrisThe remodeling has been on going for several months nowThe whole process has been extremely slowThey've had closed for remodeling intermittentlyYou can go there for several days and then show up and the "closed for remodeling" sign is on the doorI for one, believe it is good customer service to contact their customers that they will not be open for businessThey not only don't do that, but they don't have a recording when calling that they are closedThe phone just rings & ringsI for one believe they have run out of funds to complete the remodeling and should remain closed until further notice

I had been going to Sunsational Tan for a few years when they switched owners 6+ months agoI purchased a year of tanning which is dollars and I was only a few months into that year when the new owners put a sign on the door saying the town closed them down for maintainceNow months and months go by and no one is doing any work inside and they're still closedA lot of people feel scammed as well

This business is a total scamIt has been reported to the Revdex.com multiple times and nothing has been doneThe business owner has been completely unprofessional on his social media accounts and it is clear that "renovations" are not happeningMany people have been left with no warning and no refundI am still shocked that the Revdex.com has not taken any steps to investigate thisI was a loyal customer for a long time and I loved the original owners; but when the company was sold to the new owners, this business went downhill

I went to Sunsational tan over months ago to sign up for the yearly contract Everything was fine for weeks I was goingThen randomly closed downI thought whatever, I knew they were doing construction Well now it's been months They didn't warn anybody about the closingThey posted on Facebook stating it was requested by the town he does a remodelWell, the town knew nothing about this and also they would never close them to remodel unless something was wrongHe is talking so rude and unprofessional to all his paying customers on Facebook for everyone to see how nasty he isI paid 60$ to sign up for that month and only tanned weekI would like my money back for the inconvenience and the scamming this guy is doingHe keeps updating the status with new renovations they have done but as I drive by and look, nothing has been done insideI would like something to happen
