HI, You did in fact contact us about the state of work and at the time made it sound as a simple issue about feeling that you had paid too muchAt that time our technician had given you a $credit but after speaking with him about how it went we did agree to another $credit to keep you happyAt that point there was approximately $in material and $in labor.(after the credit) My Wife called you on 11/at 10:a.mto request a confirmation of your address to send the check tooWe never received a return phone call and so we did not send a checkAt the time we spoke on the phone the only issue you had was that of the chimney being slightly crooked, I did explain that due to the nature of your chimney, how it was originally installed that this was the cheapest way to bring it to codeYou seemed fine with thisThe other alternative is to increase the depth of the pipe through the houseadd bracing and a "t"support bracket all of which would have added additional materials and laborYou never mentioned to me about the chimney not being fastened, I am not sure what this statement means I have no knowledge of an additional part that was needed and would like to know what it isIf it was an inside part as far as I know that was not part of the scope of workIf you were told we would provide that and we did not then I will re-reimburse you for that You state that we charged $per hour for workLet me explain that just because he was only on the job for two hours does not mean that there was only hours of work:ordering, picking up of needed material- hourdelivery and drive-time to job-hourwork being done- hoursdrivetime back to shop- hourIn total hours, which after the total $reduction (the initial 50, then an additional which I agreed to) comes out to be $for a technician we bill out at $I thought that was very fair.If you are still having issues, or would like to show me what you have an issue with I would very much like to come out and take a look myselfI did berate our technician for not taking pictures for me to look at (it is supposed to be done on every job)The technician who performed the work was the same one who came to give the bid so I did assume that you would talk when there and take care of any issues that arise. We do not do itemized bills, we do bids, flat rate for specified amount of work, sometimes things go in our favor and sometimes they don'tBut in years of business this is our first complaint and I would very much like to resolve this.Thank you

First of all when your technician came out the first time to give a bid he told me that the stove pipe inside the house was fine and then when he came to do the work he said that we needed to go pick up a draw band to make the stove pipe inside connectedWell thats why we had a professional come out in the first place to do the work that we did not want to doSo we ended up ordering two draw bands onlineVery frustratingWe then did speak to your wife that said she would send the check out and that was on Saturday 11/We assumed the check was in the mailAlso it is hard to believe items were $500.00- the three items were, one stove pipe section, a cap, and roof brace that was installed on top of the shinglesI would like my refund promptly

HI, You did in fact contact us about the state of work and at the time made it sound as a simple issue about feeling that you had paid too much. At that time our technician had given you a $50.00 credit but after speaking with him about how it went we did agree to another $150.00 credit to keep...

you happy. At that point there was approximately $500.00 in material and $250.00 in labor.(after the credit) My Wife called you on 11/29 at 10:34 a.m. to request a confirmation of your address to send the check too. We never received a return phone call and so we did not send a check. At the time we spoke on the phone the only issue you had was that of the chimney being slightly crooked, I did explain that due to the nature of your chimney, how it was originally installed that this was the cheapest way to bring it to code. You seemed fine with this. The other alternative is to increase the depth of the pipe through the house. add bracing and a "t"support bracket all of which would have added additional materials and labor. You never mentioned to me about the chimney not being fastened, I am not sure what this statement means.  I have no knowledge of an additional part that was needed and would like to know what it is. If it was an inside part as far as I know that was not part of the scope of work. If you were told we would provide that and we did not then I will re-reimburse you for that.   You state that we charged $200.00 per hour for work. Let me explain that just because he was only on the job for two hours does not mean that there was only 2 hours of work:ordering, picking up of needed material- 1 hourdelivery and drive-time to job-1 hourwork being done- 2 hoursdrivetime back to shop- 1 hourIn total 5 hours, which after the total $200.00 reduction (the initial 50, then an additional 150 which I agreed to) comes out to be $50.00 for a technician we bill out at $75.00 I thought that was very fair.If you are still having issues, or would like to show me what you have an issue with I would very much like to come out and take a look myself. I did berate our technician for not taking pictures for me to look at (it is supposed to be done on every job). The technician who performed the work was the same one who came to give the bid so I did assume that you would talk when there and take care of any issues that arise. We do not do itemized bills, we do bids, flat rate for specified amount of work, sometimes things go in our favor and sometimes they don't. But in 8 years of business this is our first complaint and I would very much like to resolve this.Thank you.

OK, but you are not understanding he only replaced one pipe Selkirk 8"x36 superpro pipe, the other one he turned around. I would like the refund originally stated of 150.00 and 165.oo for the one pipe that was not replaced. The total then would be $315. I would like this resolved and the check sent to us within a week. If this continues the next step we will take is to go to small claims court.  Thank you [redacted] and Nate.

Review: Contacted the owners several times . Never seemed to call back. Finally got a hold of them. Told them the work they had performed was poor quality and that we were charged too much. O said he would be losing money to come out and see what was done and that he would honor us money back $200 dollars. They had charged us $900.00 for under 2 hours of poorly done work. Pipe on chimney is still crooked and was never fastened. Charging $200 an hour is outrageous. Bid was not explained well at all. Feel very ripped off. Was also told check was in the mail and never received it. It has been over a month. We were also unable to run our stove for three days because we had to order part on our own to finish the job that they were supposed to do. Never received itemized bill also.Desired Settlement: Want money back $500.00.
