Awesome guys and what a blessing today
Awesome guys and what an amazing blessing you have given me today. I highly recommend these guys. God Bless you all.
From the bottom of my heart Thank you. Bowen/ BST driver stuck in mud. Our drivers are in Martinsville everyday me personally three times a week n I’m letting everyone I know and the shop if they need a big truck tow to call yens.

Review: I would like to bring to your attention the tow invoice our company had to paid resulting from a one vehicle accident on [redacted] on 2-23-16. Our driver ran off the road and ended up off the roadway and into a ditch. The tow bill was $24,728.66 to pull the truck out of the ditch and tow back to their storage lot. $4.087.65 of the bill included environmental clean up which is warranted due to radiator fluid leaking.

Please look into this outrageous invoice and respond with your findings as we feel this is way out of line. From talking to the tow company this is not the first time they have had complaints. I have included a photo of our truck to show the size and type of truck.Desired Settlement: The type of resolution desired is to make you aware that this tow company is charging outrages and unnecessary services. To break down the invoice we were charged $962.50 for a scene supervisor. The recovery time to pull the truck out was 5.5 hrs and they used 2 heavy duty wreckers. All the charges for the use of a excavator, dump truck and equipment support trailer is excessive. This bill excluding the environmental charges should not have exceeded $7,500.00. So I calculate we paid around $13,141.05 in excessive fees. My resolution would be for Foxfire Towing to refund [redacted] $13,141.05.

Review: One of my vehicles was involved in an accident on 122, Booker T. Washington Hwy. The police officer felt the vehicle was in a bad spot and needed to be towed quickly. I wanted to call someone from Salem, VA, he felt that would take too long. Apparently the police have a rotation to follow in calling tow trucks to the scene of accidents. The officer called the next tow company in the rotation, Fox Fire Towing. My vehicle was sitting on the side of the road, not in any precarious position, just on the side of the road. Also, there was no debris from the accident. Fox Fire arrived on scene and was there a maximum of 15 minutes. They backed up to the vehicle, hooked it up, pulled it onto the flatbed and left. I received a bill for their services 2 days later for $1,325.40. When speaking with Fox Fire regarding the bill I was informed that they have a rate of $135.00 per hour. In some cases he will charge a 2 hour minimum, or a 4 hour minimum, @$135.00 per hour. Of course I was charged the 4 hour minimum. Again, my bill was $1325 for towing my vehicle an approximate total of 30 miles. In my conversation with Fox Fire, the worker was quick to point out that insurance companies punish us the minute they insure us based on other peoples accidents. Then he informed me that his rates are what they are because he has to adjust them to compensate for some cases where he tows and does not get paid. It certainly seems to me that he is no different than those insurance companies he very quickly threw under the bus. I was in a situation where Fox Fire was forced upon me due to the circumstances. I would never call them in a future accident, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone in need of a tow truck. IF YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN ROBBED AFTER A TOW, Fox Fire is the company for you. Otherwise, STEER CLEAR OF FOX FIRE TOWING, or guard your wallet. Because even if you aren't paying up front and your insurace is footing the bill...ultimately it will trickle down to you, to all of us.Desired Settlement: I feel that a significant reduction in the tow charge is required in this situation. I understand that a job was performed, and it should be paid for. But the amount billed is 3-4 times what an average charge would have, or should have, been. I would never expect anyone to work for free, but I do expect honesty and integrity from companies that perform services for the public. In this case I feel that Fox Fire Towing has cheated me, no honesty, no integrity. REDUCE THE BILL SIGNIFICANTLY.
