In response to complaint ID# *** and the following customer's statement of the problem, I find that the following statements made are not to be a
truthful account of the situation: The AC did not work, The rooms are not evenly heated cooled, The heat does not workAfter reviewing the system on November 18, the reason for the problem was do to lack of routine maintenanceI have pictures of the units including part number (taken on November 18, 2014) with a dirty filter (should be changed monthly) which in turn caused the coil to become dirty and the system to not function currently, All parts and labor are covered under the year warranty and all work is guaranteedHowever, routine maintenance is not coveredThe system was inspected and all necessary permits were pulled by *** Properties General Contractor the person whom I had the business relationship.

Review: Fox Mechanical Inc installed two HVAC systems for me between December 2013 and April 2014. The systems did not function properly in the following ways: 1. The AC did not work. 2. The rooms are not evenly heated/cooled. 3. The heat does not work.Fox Mechanical Inc failed to respond promptly to requests for repairs, required threats of court action to make repairs, did not repair the units effectively, and did not test the units after making repairs.Desired Settlement: Fox Mechanical Inc makes the repairs to the unit including but not limited to fixing ductwork, repairing the furnace and replacing the thermostats as necessary. Alternatively, Fox Mechanical Inc pays for a 3rd party contractor to complete the work and then ends the warranty, so I do not have to rely on a business that is irresponsible and unprofessional.
