Now that the He said/I said comments are over the facts still are:
The concrete poured by the contractor started to deteriorate in a couple of months after installation. The argument about the salt damage is weak at best as the area in question is not exposed to salt and even if this will be the case the concrete replaced by the contractor in the garage was poured in the 70's and lasted many years before starting to deteriorate. The new concrete lasted a few months.
The contractor never provided me with a proposal on how to resolve the issue, no timeline nor estimated cost of the work needed to be done to resolve the issue.
Negotiations on how to resolve the issue are still open from my part.

[redacted]This is in response to the homeowners response dated 12/11/14. There was a conversation earlier this summer that I would replace the area of concern. After a few conversations with the homeowner and me telling him there would be a charge for replacing the area of salt damage, the homeowner decided to take action as stated before that he would report me and damage my reputation. My proposal is to saw cut the area, remove the damaged concrete and haul it away. I then would put down new concrete. The cost of replacing damaged concrete would be approximately $350.00 and can be done when a date is agreed upon that works for both the homeowner and myself.Thank you[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Given that the work can't be done during winter, I agree that it should be done in spring of 2015. I will contact the contractor in March of 2015 to plan the timeline of the work at the price stated by contractor ($350)

Review: The Service Provider and I entered in an agrement on October 2013 to tear down and replace the concrete in the garage floor of my home as well as the walk way and the stoop in the main entrance. The work was done as agreed the same month. by January of 2014, I noticed that the area of the new concrete in the gargae floor that was exposed outside of the garage door, like 8" wide and the lenght of the withd of the garage was crumbling, with time it got worse and by April 2014 I called [redacted], the owner of the concrete business to share my concern. He came to my house, looked at the floor and said he was going to get back to me. He made two comments at that moment, one that maybe it was a result of exposure to salt, or that there was some problem with the concrete, he even mentioned that being such a small area in need of repair and to avoid more cost that he was going to try and ask a concrete company when they will be in the area to deliver the small amount of concrete needed and avoid to have the truck to come to my home exclusively. He also tested the walk way and said that there was a problem with the concrete in that area as well. [redacted] never got back to me, I insited and he responded in several ocassions, saying things like, "I am out of town in a wedding" or "I am very busy", in our last conversation a few weeks ago, he stated that it wasn't his fault and that the problem was due to exposure to salt, I told him that area was not exposed to salt and he responded that he could not do anything about it. I told him that if the issue wasn't resolved I would report him and his company to the Revdex.com. He responded to go ahead and hang up.Desired Settlement: The damaged area of the concrete floor needs to be repaired because is at risk of spreading through out the whole floor. I am concerned that [redacted] the owner of the concrete company is not in diposition to fix the problem, he has shown complete disregard for my needs. Even though that I was willing to negotiate with him on how to go about the repairs, even sharing the cost if necessary, his responses and the tone of his responses led me to believe that is not going to work out. Still I am willing to negotiate to resolve the issue, but if he continues to show a beligerent attitude, I would not want him around my home and family. if no settlement is reached with [redacted], I will look for another contractor, but his company and name should be on record that he did not provide an acceptable service, that I will have to incurr in additional expenses to repair the damage and that his attitude and approach was unprofessional..
