were not happy with our cabin, it is unfortunate, because we work hard to upkeep our property and grounds. You are correct, the location is near the garbage dump, but so are many other cabins and RV's and we have never heard a complaint about this. This is a necessity for the grounds for maintenance and order.
We would be happy to welcome you back if you would give us another chance to host you. If your only desire is to receive your refund, that is not a problem. This was an accounting error and you should have received an additional $100 that will be credited to your account in the next 7-10 business days.
Thank you for reaching out and sharing feedback on your experience. We take this to heart and will work hard to better our lodging for our future clientele. We have been in business for 10 years now, and have thousands of happy and returning customers, and we work hard to keep it this way.

I just checked, and to date the additional $100.00 owed me has not been posted to my account and it has been 10 days!
To Fox:
You state "We strive on creating a warm and welcoming environment for your camping adventures". If so, then why do you put pictures on the internet that is not the same as the place you rent???? This is called "Bate & Switch". I have another 15 photos of this horrible cabin that prove your statement wrong. Is that why you only address the garbage dump situation??
Why would you even suggest that you would love to have us back after being lied to about the conditions?! As far as not crediting us the additional $100.00, I believe this was NOT an accounting error but a conscious decision to try and keep our money since it took 2 months to post the first $150.00 credit!
Being retired 30 yrs from Customer Service, this is the worst way to conduct business. "Customer Service" means caring for the customer, not your bottom line. I will continue spreading the word on Fox Recreation and the horrible time we had. People need to be aware of businesses like yours and your deceptive practices.

Hi [redacted] I'm not sure why you continue to say nasty things when you received an apology and response from us. We actually would prefer not to hear from you again. You are clearly not a camper and not used to the camping environment. My only suggestion to you would be to stay at 5 star resorts where you clearly belong and leave small campgrounds alone with your nasty outlook. We have so many happy campers than not and we will continue to work hard to make them happy.
As far as your refund and doing this deliberately, this is not true. Again you are making things up. We are a small family business not a corporate operation. We do not have the ability to write out money frequently we have many expenses. While you have not received your refund, we will give it to you when the funds become available. It will take us an additional 15 days but you will get it nonetheless. If you have any additional comments please contact us directly. Or wait for your refund and stop saying such negative things. While we are open to feedback your responses are disrespectful and out of line. Please find something else to occupy yourself with than our business. Thanks.

I suppose you feel better trying to throw it back on me but since my husband worked and ran Gages Lake Campground (just down the road) for over 22 years, we are very aware of campground environment. I am only stating the truth, mainly concerning the trailer we rented that you have yet to address. I will be waiting for my refund.
