Took my vehicle into the car wash. When the employee on the passenger side of my truck went to brunch the truck hood, he dropped the brush on the hood. This caused two small dents.
I immediately notified station management when I exited the wash.
Station manager, Marcie, immediately started looking for other issues to use to dispute the claim for damage. I said “you’re just looking for an excuse to not pay for the damage aren’t you?”
They took pictures, and so did I. I was told to get an estimate and that they would discuss it.
I then contacted a paintless repair shop and received an estimate.
Since I got the estimate ($250) they refused to pay for the damage.

Dear Sir/Madam,

The complainant states that a brush was dropped on his vehicle's hood. F's Car Wash has a $30,000 Camera system that records the car from the entrance of the tunnel for a total of 4 points throughout the tunnel and the exit. The passenger side of the tunnel entrance is also recorded from an additional exterior camera facing the passenger side prior to the tunnel entrance.

The customer alerted our Car Wash Manager, Marcie H to the issue and she simply stated that his hood appeared to have previous damage possibly from hail. The customer informed our manager that they would be acquiring an estimate and would get back with us.

After extensively reviewing the camera footage, we concluded that no error or damage was done on our part.

The video playback shows no evidence of our attendant dropping the brush onto the Claimants hood.

At F's customer service is our number one priority. We go above and beyond to provide our customer's with the value, quality and honest service that they deserve.

I am rejecting this response because:The business states that they have a $30k camera system, so they can clearly see the damage when it occurred.

Previous conditions of the vehicle were not any part or portion of my complaint. The manager simply immediately looked for any excuse to discount my claim.

I was sitting in the vehicle when the damage occurred and challenge the business to show this entire exchange to prove their lack of liability. I am sure it will show exactly what I witnessed with my own eyes.

I do not lie or distort things for any reason and therefore find this challenge to my integrity to be wholly and definitively disrespectful.

I asked for nothing but the incurred damage to be taken care of. Nothing more or less.
