SCUMLORDS! I could fill volumes do the the five year hell I had renting from these people. If they do make repairs, you will wish they had stayed away. The leave a path of destruction every time they enter your apartment. They are racist and mean. Stay away.

No good security at the complex. No good repairs at the complex. Toilet was broke for 4 days. Putting old parts instead of putting part to keep from repairing it again.My apt. got broking in and the landlord willn't do anything about it.The appliances in the apt are to old and they break down to much. Drug dealers and drug addicts living in the apt. complexDesired SettlementI didn't want nobody to rent no apartments from this FP Memphis Company. Business Response Mr. [redacted]'s apartment was never broken in to. He got in an altercation with a neighbor and he wanted us to evict the other neighbor. This is not something we would do as it is illegal. All of Mr. [redacted]'s requests were taken care of in a timely manner for this $380 apartment in [redacted] FPMemphis does more for its tenants than most and we continually try and upgrade the quality of experience our professionals request.

I paid a 100 dollar deposit, and changed my mind about the apartment and the property manager did not give my deposit back within the 20 minutes Two weeks ago, I view some apartments, one was ths fp properties. I talked to [redacted],the property manager about leasing the property. I viewed an apartment, completed an application and paid a 25 dollar application few, [redacted] stated to move in there must not be and felonies, bankruptcy, or evictions on your credit report. She called me and stayed the apartment is mine and I need to pay my security deposit, I did not pay a security deposit then due to a past due light bill. I told [redacted] about this, and she stated I have there evictions on my credit report and she is doing me a flavor by letting me move in. I stated I have to pay my past due light bill, when I checked on the apartment, that folling Monday, [redacted] stated it was rented and she had another apartment that will be ready in October, I stated that was fine,due to the size of my furniture and my children need more space, and [redacted] stated she is doing me cause do not rent to people with evictions,and I have there.Friday September 09/19/2014 visited fp properties, after being called by [redacted], and she stated the other person had a bad back ground and I could get the apartment after telling me about another apartment, I paid the 100 dollar deposit, I asked to view the apartment, and It looked too small for my furniture I walked back over told [redacted] I did not want the apartment and I would like my deposit back and she became very rude and irate, and stated I am wondering about your mind and you will have to wait two weeks to get it and I will mail it to you and then stated we really don't give money back then stated no one will rent to me and I will never be able to stay somewhere nice, stated I already deposited it to my bank and that I was dumb and that she is doing me a favor, I recorded it on my phone and had her to sign a stated the security deposit would be given back. This was absolutely a terrible and unprofessional experience and I am so happy I decided not to rent, and I just want my security deposit back immediately! The apartment was only viewed no lease was signed and the policy fp properties state no evictions.Desired SettlementI just want my security deposit back, on an apartment, that has only been viewed, no lease was signed.Business Response We are returning her security deposit of $100. There was obviously some confusion with this applicants application and the issue with a past due[redacted] bill etc.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not except the response, because it's been 3 weeks and I still have not received my 100 dollar deposit from Ms. [redacted]. It clearly states that they are going to return the deposit, and it also was recorded on my phone, during the incident, but no one has contacted me with any information on receiving my 100 dollar deposit. This is ridiculous and petty, why are they holding on to my money and not returned it yet, I need my deposit immediately, to pay on some decent apartments.Final Business Response The $100 Security was mailed 10/6/14 to her address that she left on my voice mail.
