I purchased a CPR certification course for Sunday, June 3rd at 9 AM over the phone, because the website was down. I was asked if I knew the location and I said I had found it online. I then received a phone call at 8:13 AM on that day to inform me that the class was cancelled. I was offered the opportunity to go to another course the next weekend, which I couldn't make, so I was then offered the possible chance to go to another class on Wednesday, June 6th during rush hour (that was different, because it was for healthcare workers, which I am not). I was informed that I would be contacted by the end of that day and was not, so I had to call back the next day to confirm. When I arrived at the location posted online (found on google, because there was no address in the purchase confirmation e-mail and that was the only address I could find) I realized that the address was incorrect. I called to find out the correct address, and I was too far away to make the class. I didn't have any time in the near future to make another class, so I asked for a refund, and was told that the refund policy required 48 hour notice, but that it would be processed and take 7-10 business days. After that, I was told that I would only be able to be refunded 50%. I was fully expecting to be able to take the course on the originally scheduled time, but my schedule for the week was then disrupted by having to figure out another time, after being informed of the cancellation less than an hour beforehand. Then I was told that I would be able to receive a refund, and then those words were taken back. I just want my full refund.

BELOW IS WHAT IS POSTED ON MY WEBSITE REGARDING TRANSFERS AND REFUNDS.Transfers: If you’re unable to attend a class on the date in which you registered, you’ll be transferred to another class - space permitting - if you notify Fragile Heart CPR at least two business days prior to the class date. Fragile Heart CPR grants one free transfer. For each subsequent transfer, you'll be charged a $3 administrative fee.Refunds: If you need to cancel your enrollment in a class, you'll receive a full refund, minus a $5 administrative fee, if you notify Fragile Heart CPR at least two business days prior to the class date. HE ALSO COULD HAVE CALLED ME PRIOR TO CLASS TIME TO VERIFY THE TRAINING ADDRESS.INSTEAD HE DID A SEARCH FOR MY COMPANY ON GOOGLE AND WENT TO A PREVIOUS BUSINESS ADDRESS. YET WHEN FILING THIS COMPLAINT WITH THE Revdex.com HE SENT ITTO MY HOME ADDRESS. I HAVE SECURED A SEPARATE LOCATION FOR TRAINING. I DON'T TRAIN IN MY HOME.THE CLASS POSTING CLEARLY STATES THE TRAINING LOCATION AS *** ON BOTH THE RED CROSS SITE WHERE HE SELECTED HIS CLASS AND ON THE WEBSITE OF FRAGILE HEART CPR, WHEN THE WEBSITE IS ENTERED ON AN URL ADDRESS LINE AND NOT THRU A SEARCH ENGINE.WE ARE NOT AT FAULT FOR HIS GOING TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I EXTENDED MY POLICY FURTHER THAN I NEEDED TO BECAUSE f WAS TRYING TO ACCOMMODATE THE CUSTOMER.I PAID AN INSTRUCTOR TO TEACH THE CLASS THAT HE MISSED, AND HAD TO PAY THAT INSTRUCTOR FOR THE EMPTY SEAT ASSIGNED TO ***.TO GIVE A 100% REFUND WHEN THE CUSTOMER DID NOT NOTIFY ME OF HIS DESIRE TO CANCEL 2 DAYS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED CLASS IS AGAINST COMPANY POLICY . I HAVE OFFERED MR. THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND ANOTHER CLASS GIVING HIM AN OPTION OF 4-5 DIFFERENT DAYS AND HE SAYS HE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO ATTEND ANY THAT I SUGGESTED.OFFERED SETTLEMENTI OFFERED A 50% REFUND IN SPITE OF THE EXPENSES TO THE COMPANY TO HAVE THE CLASS AT THE DESIGNATED LOCATION AND HIRE AN INSTRUCTOR.AT THIS POINT I AM NO LONGER WILLING TO GIVE MR. A 50% REFUND BUT I WILL HONOR HIS REGISTRATION AND GIVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THE CLASS ON A DIFFERENT DATE OR A CLASS THAT IS EQUIVALENT TO HIS ORIGINALLY SELECTED CLASS, THAT IS MORE IN LINE WITH HIS SCHEDULE IF HE ATTENDS WITHIN THE NEXT 15 DAYS.
