I was in an accident that required my car to be towed. Fraley's Towing was called by the ***. The driver was rude from the beginning and finally got my care on the truck. He asked where I wanted my car taken. I asked that they take my car to *** in Marysville, Ohio which was roughly 25 miles from the accident scene. The driver said okay and nothing else. We met the driver at *** and he takes my keys from the car and puts them in his pocket. He then says, "you owe me *** before I can give you your keys." I was shocked at the excessive price of *** and voiced my concern. He stated, "that's because you had your car towed to *** and you have to pay for my mileage back to ***. I had no choice but to pay the $*** because he used my keys as collateral. This guy never mentioned anything about price at anytime. I was expecting a bill of *** at maximum. I was charged *** per mile. Literally highway robbery.
We charge *** to show up on the scene of an accident. We have charged that amount for years.
Tow trucks cost about $150,000, plus there is insurance and fuel and so on.

As I explained to you before we moved your car, if you had chosen to have your car towed to our storage lot, probably your insurance would have covered the price to tow it from there, but that is not what you asked us to do. I told you there would be a charge to tow it somewhere else. I didn't know exactly how far it would be to tow it where you wanted, so I could not give you an exact price, and you did not ask how much it would be.
I was not rude to you. I apologized for the price even though it is what we normally charge, and thanked you.
