I mailed in my sunglass frames almost 3 months ago for repairs. Now I can't even get anyone on the phone for a repair status or to even respond to my emails.
The last time I made contact with the repair man, August Cornell I believe, he was in the middle of repairing it.

I sent a pair of vintage *** sunglasses to be repaired. Owner of the business sounded professional and knowledgeable. As soon as I sent payment the excuses started. I never got a tracking number, and when I called, I was told to expect a call back. Now both emails and phone calls are not being answered. This has been going on for about 4 months now.

I sent two eyeglasses frames to them to be repaired the second week of July and followed up with a phone call to confirm that they got them and to set up a payment method. I have not heard from them and I have sent several email messages asking for an update and a completion date but I have not gotten a reply.

On 04/23/19 I sent a pair of broken clip-on glasses to Frame Fixers to be repaired. I also sent a pair of glasses to have clip-ons made. Optics were high grade -- total value approximately $1,500. August Cornell of Frame Fixers emailed me to say that the charge for the work would be $167.50. I gave him my credit card information and authorized him to do the work. He charged my credit card $170 on 05/10/19. As of 07/02/19 I have not got my glasses or clip-ons back. Cornell does not respond to phone calls or email. On 07/02/19 I asked my credit card company to reverse the charge for $170.

I sent two pair of older wire framed prescription bifocal glasses to FrameFixers to have the nose pads replaced, in Sept 2018. After numerous phone calls (msgs left) and emails, some answered, I was assured that the glasses were either being repaired or on the bench to be shipped out. I've not been informed of the cost so I could remit same nor have I received the glasses and more recently, any responses to my latest queries.

As per correspondence with August Cornell by email, Sunglass frames where sent to frame fixers for repair as per their website. Payment for the repair including return postage to Australia, insurance and tracking was negotiated and paid.
Unfortunately no notification of shipping was provided, hence no tracking# and the sunglasses never arrived. August has claimed by email that they have been sent but provided no tracking#.

Subsequently I have made a fraudulent transaction complaint with *** which I used for payment - this has been upheld.

I sent in glasses for repair over 2-1/2 months ago. I've sent numerous emails over the last 2-1/2 months and only gotten excuses for not shipping glasses back to me.

Last summer - I sent four *** type sunglasses to August C with FrameFixers. He advertised that he could repair the problem for all four sunglasses - hinge repair. Four months later I received 3 of the 4 back, repaired properly. The last pair took over 10 months for repair AND they were returned with large & deep scratches in the right lens, making them virtually unusable . They were not there when I sent the frames off in the first place - or I certainly would have not spent $55 on a repair for useless sunglasses. Over the course of the 10 months - I had to constantly reach out to Mr. C about the current status of the glasses. Then - without announcement - I receive the sunglasses by mail, and found the scratches on the right lens. I find it highly unethical to not let me know in the first place that they were scratched - either by him or a third party - and offer a refund on the repair.

I sent a pair of *** Splinter sunglasses to frame fixers for an estimate on repair in April, 2018. Upon receiving the estimate, I paid Mr. August Cornell of Frame Fixers to do the repair. After a few months of not hearing anything, I contacted him to which over the course of 10 months have gotten every excuse as to why they have not been repaired. He did not have a problem taking my $150.00, and I trusted him to do the work. I still have not received the glasses back.

I sent in my *** sunglasses to be fixed from framefixers.com. After shipping the product, they would send me emails saying one thing or another. Then they stopped. After calling and emailing they had excuses from moving, to new staff. Regardless how many conversations I had I could not get my product back. I searched online and many people have had the same experience. This is a scam, and fraud, including theft.

Framefixers received my one and only pair of prescription glasses to repair the frame on March 3, 2018. They replied back March 8, 2018 with what they would be doing and a cost to do the work. They requested me to reply back with "PROCEED" if I accepted. I replied back March 9, 2018 and again on March 13, 2018 to yes proceed. I have now emailed them once a month since asking what was going on, but, they refuse to answer. In the last email I explained I either needed my glasses back fixed or just back without fixing them, either way was fine, because my next birthday is my 70th and I need my glasses back to renew my drivers license again in Ohio, and I just can not afford new glasses. Still no replies from them.

After several months after the initial payment, the frame were never fixed. I have sent multiple emails on getting status back and have spent over $100 for the services that have not happened.

I sent a pai of *** sunglasses to this business as they listed online a repair for broken spring hinges on this type of frame. Information of the status of the repair was very difficult as months went by without any response to my request. After 4 messages left and multiple e-mail messages requesting status update I was finally contacted. They had a hard time finding my frames in their inventory. After several weeks they called and stated that the repairs had been accomplished and my glasses had been shipped out. Another week went by with no shipment received nor any updates. I finally talked to the company once again requesting a shipping tracking number only to find they had not shipped them. 4 days later an email was sent with a shipping tracking number. Glasses received a day later. Glasses were worn one day and repair did not correct issue as stated and no guarantee given. Glasses are broken again and framefixers will not honor warranty given as stated. Also lenses of glasses were scratched during repair visit to this vendor.

I sent a pair of *** sunglasses to this business for repair (sent via USPS Priority Mail). The shipping address was "Frame Fixers", but the address on *** Blvd in Syracuse turns out to be a UPS store. The sunglasses were delivered on 7/31. I called them on 8/1 and the person answering the phones said they would call me later that afternoon with a repair estimate. Since then, I've had no further communication with them. I've left several messages and called on multiple occasions. I see they have a similar complaint from 2008 and there are multiple similar issues reported on ***, and other internet review sites. I need to get an address for this business owner, to retrieve my sunglasses ($500 value) either repaired or in the condition delivered. I can't believe the state of New York is allowing this business to receive products via the US mail.

I mailed my glasses to Frame Fixers to replace a screw that had the head of the screw stripped out.
I spoke with a representative of the company named Cornell and another rep. named Robert. These two guys assured me that they could repair my glasses and would send them back to me. After they had collected my credit card information, they called me back and stated that my glasses was repaired and were being shipped back to me. After waiting for a week I called back and talked to Robert who assured me that the he would check into why I had not received my glasses. Another week went by still my glasses wasn't returned. I called back again and left a message for them to please call me and please let me know what was the hold up. No luck with them even returning my calls. I fear that I have become a victim of false advertisement and a SCAM. It has been about a month now and even though I continue to call, I get no answer or satisfaction. Please here me clearly don't trust them.
