My name is Agnes Bernbaum. I was recently at the branson store ,I had an hour to pass between my daughters chemo treatment. I ran across this lovely boutique and went inside. I had not ever come across one. I was greeted by this young lady who looked no more than 12 years old and she called herself Hannah. She was alright but standoffish. I explain to her that I am just browsing and excused myself. As I looked around the store it was well put together but I noticed all the responsibility was falling on this other young ladies shoulders. I asked for her assistents and she gave me the name of Rachel. Rachel was courteous and was willing to help me when I actually needed assistance. She was polite and helped me find some baubles for my daughter to give to her and hopefully cheer her up as she dealing with this for awful cancer stuff over the holidays. Anyway, the other associate Hannah was frantenizing with a boy instead of helping Rachel, but the only thing she did do was check me out which happened to be when I saw her take money out of the till and place it into the young ladies pocket. She said nothing to me and just pretended as if there was nothing wrong with her actions. She was rude and disinterested and just haughty in character. The only reason I would go back is because my daughter liked her baubles and if it makes her happy and cheers her up as she is going through this difficult trying time in her life.

If I could give less than a one star rating I would. I did Cyber Monday shopping through them this Christmas and received a package that completely didn't send me an item I had ordered (no follow-up email saying it was coming in a separate order) and an item that full on did not come with the handle on the mug (the handle was not even in the package - a sealed bag, - so it was shipped completely broken. I called customer service that same day and the lady told me to take a picture of the broken item and e-mail them, which I also did that day. Got an automated email that said I'd get a reply within one business day. I waited four before emailing again. Another 3-4 days and I just got a response that said my card was credited the amount, but the items were no longer available. I ordered these gifts weeks ago AND emailed them weeks ago and nothing for the massive inconvenience except more inconvenience in having to figure it another plan for Christmas presents a week before Christmas. Completely unacceptable and a massive hassle. Not worth it. DO NOT shop online with them!

I won't be going back to Francesca's anytime soon. It's a cute store but everything I've ever purchased has fallen apart quite quickly. I bought a sterling silver ring in the store three days ago, and by day two it had already crumbled in my fingers when I was taking it off. If this had happened say a month after, I'd be fine with it. However, paying $20 for a ring that lasted not even a full day was frustrating.

Review: My daughter purchased a dress at Francesca's approx. 3-4 weeks ago. She tried the garment on in the store and it fit. We paid cash. She tried the garment on again at home and it fit fine. We cut off the price tag. She wore it to her senior formal. During the evening, the materila began to shred at the waist. I returned the garment to the store on Monday 5/** at approx. 7PM and advised the cashier of what happend and that I did not have a receipt. But I told her that I was sure Francesca's knew their merchandise and in fact the cashier told me the exact rack where the garment was hanging. She advised me that without a receipt or tag it would be difficult to locate a SKU and process the return. She called over another woman to advised that she was the [redacted] was her name I believe. She also told me she would try to locate the garment in their system for pricing info. When she found out that the garment was worn she told me that Francesca's does not accept worn items for returns. I told her that the garment was clearly defective as it was shredding in my hands. She continued to tell me that store policy was no returns on worn merchandise. So I asked her if I bought a dress here, wore it and the sleeves fell off, could I return it if I had a receipt? She told me no. It is Francesca's policy that any damage to the garment must have been caused by the customer. I told her I will not be shopping at Francesca's any more.Desired Settlement: I simply would like a store credit as I realize I do not have a receipt for my cash purchase.
