the customer’s concerns We were sorry to learn that our services did not meet the customer’s expectations. We understand that high deductible and coinsurance plans can cause a financial hardship. As a courtesy, we have written-off the copay balance owed on the customer’s account, leaving a remaining balance owed of zero Generally, hospital emergency room charges are higher than urgent care centers and physician offices due to the hospital’s increased labor and supply costs, more expensive equipment used and hospital overhead. As part of the annual budgeting process, individual department charges are reviewed and compared to other similar sized hospitals.
