Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The request for the detailed Photoshop work was emailed to *** *** 8/**/(see attached supporting document). *** *** agreed to fulfill all the requested Photoshop work on 8/**/(see attached supporting email dated 8/**/2013. The same request was resent on 12/**/as per *** ***’s request. There is no mention of starting the album the day of the wedding in my complaint as suggested by *** *** (see initial complaint), nor was there any such request ever made. In *** ***’s previous Revdex.com response, he states that “dark circles” were removed under brides eyes and he “thinned faces”. Neither of these were requested by us nor were completed by *** *** (please see attached supporting email dated 8/**/2013). *** *** claims the Photoshop work done is more than the standard he does for his clients but his main selling point was the great Photoshop work he does and showed us multiple examples of “his” past Photoshop work. The defect in the picture on the bride’s back which he claims is the bride’s garter is in fact a printing defect. There is no garter in this picture at all (see attached supporting photo). *** *** states in his Revdex.com response, “When the client received the book, they found a pimple on the bride’s shoulder that was not removed prior to them approving the final design”. As mentioned above on 8/**/*** *** agreed to Photoshop the spots out prior to printing our main album. The printers refusing to yet again print our main album is based upon *** *** not providing them with the correct pictures multiple times. This is solely his error. In reference to the 24xwe requested and *** *** framed without our request does not replace the incorrect main album and the prints we never received, which are all included in our contract: (5) 8x10’s; (5) 5x7’s. We received an email on 5/**/from *** *** about trying to replace our main album, which would be the fourth time he is claiming it will be done correctly. No mention of the prints he still hasn’t provided. After giving him numerous chances and years to provide us with the correct products we are no longer interested nor do we feel comfortable continuing our business with *** *** & Co. *** *** & Comislead us from the day we signed the contract with him and he has proven over the years he's incapable of providing the products. We hope our complaint will help prevent other couples from being taken advantage of and losing their money Please note, we replied to his email by stating we no longer feel comfortable communicating through personal email and all further communications are to be submitted through the Revdex.com website. We are still adamant on receiving a refund of $1,for the incomplete work so we can pay for our main album and prints to be provided by another company. Please note we have also attached a detailed and dated email correspondence tracking log showing the last three years of our communications with *** ***. All of the emails detailed in this log are available upon request by the Revdex.com.Sincerely,
*** ***

advance of the client ever receiving the beautiful 4xcustom printed proofsRegarding the book design (that can only start once the client chooses the images to go into said album, not the day of their wedding as they mention): we photoshopped things such as the extra skin hanging over the top of the bride's dress, dark circles under the bride's eyes, thinned faces, took out people in the background, etcstrictly as a courtesy - this was above and beyond the photoshop work done "as a standard" (mentioned above) for our clientele - we did not charge the client for this serviceAlso, the scratch mentioned in the complaint is the bride's white garter wrapped around the groom's armWe sent the design to the client for final approval and the client approved itWe proceeded with the final production of the bookWhen the client received the book, they found a pimple on the bride's shoulder that was not removed prior to them approving the final designThey suggested we fix the acne on a number of images and we sent it back to the printer for evaluationThe printer concluded that there was no reason to reprint the book for such a dot, declined my request for repair and sent the book backI am very sorry the client found things on the final product that they were not happy with (after they saw and approved the layout) and am willing to send it to another vendor we use if they would likeThe prints they mention in the complaint are copies of a 24ximage we printed, mounted and framed as a courtesy (not part of the contract) where we REMOVED THE ENTIRE WEDDING PARTY OF MORE THAN PEOPLE and literally rebuilt the background of the imageThat print and photoshop work was at a cost (to us) of over $In closing, we are willin g to take back the book and use another printer to reproduce those images at no cost to the client

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Frank Farina & Co. provided us with a main album three times as we stated in our complaint.  The first one was received on 9/**/14 and it didn't contain any of the approved photoshop work.  We kept that album and Frank Farina & Co advised us he would find out what happened with the printing lab and he specifically says he "had them do the alterations" (photoshop work) (see attached email).  [redacted] advised us he would have the printer redo it and send us a new one.  On 1/**/2015 we received the second printing of the main album and again it didn't include the photoshop work that we requested.  This new album also had a new damaged photo in it as we previously stated in one of our responses (see attached email).  On 1/**/2015 we left the second main album on our front porch with post-it notes on each picture that was wrong or damaged.  [redacted] picked it up that day and told me he would send it back and have them fix it (see attached email).  On 5/*/2015 we received what I was told was the third printing of the main album but upon inspection of it we realized it was the same one we gave Frank Farina & Co back the last time.  Only after contacting Frank Farina & Co did they confess that it was the same album and that the printer refused to reprint it (see attached email).  It's Frank Farina & Co's mistakes with the first and second printing that led the printer to refuse the third printing, denying us the album we wanted and paid for.As previously shown with the attached emails we provided for our previous response dated 5/**/2015, Frank Farina & Co agreed to the photoshop work we requested without question.  Also, during his initial sales pitch to us he spent a good amount of time showing us a picture he took where he was able to photoshop out a large light fixture in the way of the bride and groom. Please note that attached is a picture of the two albums in our possession proving Frank Farina & Co provided us with the incorrect album more than "ONCE".  We stand by our request for a partial refund of $1400, having never received the products we paid for and have a signed contract for: main album and 15 prints.

I’m waiting for my album and prints. I get no replies from Frank anymore. He won’t take our calls or our emails. I just want my items as a memento of our special day. I don’t want to give a bad review, but at this point, the lack of replies to our email and phone efforts and the length of time that has passed between the orders of the album and prints is too much.

Review: Contract was signed on 2/*/12 for wedding to that took place on 7/**/12. On the date of 2/*/12 we paid the sum of $3,125 which is half the total amount as agreed. The second half was to be paid after wedding took place. Vendor (Photographer [redacted]) was hired based examples of photo-shopping of wedding photos he said he did himself and the written package which included specific products. After wedding took place we paid the additional $3,125. As of the second payment we have been paid in full. The wedding album we received was not photo-shopped as agreed by both parties through email. We have gone back to the vendor several times and have received three photo albums that are incorrect-it does not have the photo-shopping done and one of the pictures is damaged. The damaged picture is exactly the same damaged picture as the second album. We received the third album today (5/*/15) and it agreed to corrections are still not done. We also have not received the requested prints we asked for. All these products were agreed on in the written contract and it is now almost three years later and we still do not have our paid for products. Also, he does not respond to emails, or our phone calls making this matter even worse and longer in the process.Desired Settlement: The wedding photo album and prints have not been provided. The total amount paid for his services was $6,250. We are asking for the value of the wedding album and the prints which neither were fulfilled as contracted to be reimbursed.

Response:

The business has responded. Please see below:We have provided an heirloom product of the highest standard. Our photoshop work (color, saturation, contrast, hue, exposure) is done in advance of the client ever receiving the beautiful 4x6 custom printed proofs. Regarding the book design (that can only start once the client chooses the images to go into said album, not the day of their wedding as they mention): we photoshopped things such as the extra skin hanging over the top of the bride's dress, dark circles under the bride's eyes, thinned faces, took out people in the background, etc. strictly as a courtesy - this was above and beyond the photoshop work done "as a standard" (mentioned above) for our clientele - we did not charge the client for this service. Also, the scratch mentioned in the complaint is the bride's white garter wrapped around the groom's arm. We sent the design to the client for final approval and the client approved it. We proceeded with the final production of the book. When the client received the book, they found a pimple on the bride's shoulder that was not removed prior to them approving the final design. They suggested we fix the acne on a number of images and we sent it back to the printer for evaluation. The printer concluded that there was no reason to reprint the book for such a dot, declined my request for repair and sent the book back. I am very sorry the client found things on the final product that they were not happy with (after they saw and approved the layout) and am willing to send it to another vendor we use if they would like. The prints they mention in the complaint are copies of a 24x30 image we printed, mounted and framed as a courtesy (not part of the contract) where we REMOVED THE ENTIRE WEDDING PARTY OF MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE and literally rebuilt the background of the image. That print and photoshop work was at a cost (to us) of over $300.00. In closing, we are willin g to take back the book and use another printer to reproduce those images at no cost to the client.
