[the dealers statement is completely inaccurate, and misleadingI will be filing paperwork through district court / small claims I will present the facts and evidence to the judge, including the messages I have from the dealer on my phone showing I never agreed to paying the when they said that is what it would cost to fix the engineWhen I advised them I had a warranty for the engine, transmission and differential they said " they should not have given it to me " I said the vin number was clearly typed in the warranty and it should be honored Prior to this, upon purchasing the vehicle, the salesman *** said "I have nothing to worry about as far as the expensive repairs as this warranty covers what really counts" Bottom line, the dealer has made a reply / statement to this complaint as they have described above, my evidence will clearly show they knowingly, purposely and willingly deceived me so I would purchase a vehicle that was not safe and would break down on meIt is reasonable lie to conclude the the dealer knew exactly what they were doing just to get rid of this vehicleAfter I purchased the vehicle they left me about messages so I could go back in and sign the as is paper, after they have me the warrantyI have the messages on my phone to show thisI will play them I'm court as evidence should I not get back the 3,at this pointBottom line, I have a warranty provided to me by the dealership, with the vehicles vin number on it which they did not honor even though the warranty specifically spells out what they coverThe dealer provided me with paperwork to show I was covered so I would buy the vehicle then when the vehicle needed the repair, they did not honor the warrantyMy boyfriend paid for the repair because we needed the vehicle to move that weekendAs a result, all my bills were late that month and I have a lot of extra expenses secondary to the dealer not honoring the warranty they specifically provided me with and handed me .I have a copy should the Revdex.com need itThe fact I had to pay 3,for a repair less than days and within 1,when that should have been covered caused extreme hardship on me this month ]

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
I have read the response from Frank Galos Chevrolet, I am not surprised by the distortion of the facts and their attempt at a positive spin.First, Frank Galos Chevrolet only paid for part of my airline ticket from Pittsburgh to Portland. Approximately $180 out of over $300. So what. This does not change the facts that there were problems with the car.Second, [redacted] did pick my girlfriend and myself up at the airport and he was waiting for us. But, no mention of him not having money to pay for parking or getting lost on the way back to the dealership. Total lack of professionalism from this car salesman in my opinion.Third, the fender strips were removed because they were not original to that type of [redacted]. I felt they looked cheap. [redacted] Pazany said the strips costs over $800, which I find hard to believe. Instead, Frank Galos Chevrolet should have spent that money on new tires for the car. The headlights were buffed by a hesitant employee. So what. The problems with the car were much more serious and expensive. [redacted] told me he loose wires that were not connected to the rear window defroster could be fixed at no costs at any Chevrolet dealership, which was one of many lies from employees at Frantk Galos Chevrolet. Also, the convertible top did not close properly because it was out of alignment. The Service Advisor at [redacted] in McMurray, PA, which fixed the loose wires and convertible top said the car should not have been sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle because of that issue alone.Fourth, the main issue I had with Frank Galos Chevrolet was the dangerous, old, dry-rotted tires that were on the vehicle. Before coming to Maine, I asked [redacted] and [redacted] if the tires were in good condition and I was assured the tires were indeed fine. As it turns out, three of the four tires were over five years old. All four tires were dry rotted, which made them unsafe and dangerous. The car failed inspected in Pennsylvania because of the dangerous, old, dry-rotted tires and I highly doubt the tires would have passed inspection by any reputable service technician in Maine. Attached are pictures of the old, dangerous, dry rotted tires. I also have pictures of the serial numbers in case someone were to think they were not the tires that came with the car. The Service Advisor at [redacted] in Belle Vernon, PA, where the new tires were mounted, said the tires were dangerous, old, dry-rotted, and we were lucky the tires did not explode or come apart on the 700 mile drive from the dealership to my home. Had this occurred, no doubt a serious accident would have happened.Fifth, yes, I was offered a paltry $600, which I refused because the tires alone costs over $1100. It does not matter if I contacted Frank Galos Chevrolet before or after I purchased the tires. I still had to replace four dangerous, old, dry rotted tires that Frank Galos Chevrolet sold to me. I had a limited time to get the car inspected in Pennsylvania and I could not wait around for someone from the dealership to make a decision. I am confident I would have been offered the same inadequate amount of money had I called them before purchasing the tires. Contacting them would only have delayed things.Sixth, yes, I was reimbursed by [redacted], not Frank Galos Chevrolet. I am grateful that [redacted] did the right thing and took care of a customer. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with [redacted]. Frank Galos Chevrolet told [redacted] they would not be participating in reimbursing my expenses, which I believe shows extremely poor customer service and a total lack of integrity on their part. My expenses were over $1800 and [redacted] reimbursed me for over $1600. I was not reimbursed for a new hood emblem, although [redacted] told me it would be covered, another lie, and for an oil change. I found out after arriving home the oil only have 25% life left in it according to [redacted] said the service technician probably forgot to reset things. I doubt it as the oil was black and not like fresh oil. If the service technician had forgotten to reset things, he also forgot to look at the tires closely or bother to fix the loose wires from the rear window defroster and properly align the convertible roof.If needed, I have more pictures of the dangerous, old, dry-rotted tires, including pictures that show the manufactured date. I also have copies of receipts showing the costs of the tires, work completed at [redacted] and [redacted].Franks Galos Chevrolet treated me very poorly and sold me a “Certified Pre-Owned” vehicle with dangerous, old, dry rotted tires, and several other issues. Service advisors from two separate Chevrolet dealerships said the car should not have been sold as a Certified Pre-Owned car. How can a dealership advertise a car as Certifed when in fact it is not. My issues with the car were so severe, [redacted], felt it was necessary to cover most of my out of pocket expenses. Why would they do that if the issues with the car were not serious. I can only hope that [redacted] investigates this dealership for their unsavory business practices and places some type of sanctions on them for the way they conduct business.Again, I am fortunate I was reimbursed by [redacted]. I worry about a less informed consumer that purchases a vehicle from Frank Galos Chevrolet with similar, or worse issues.Thank you,[redacted]

[redacted] and her boyfriend ([redacted]) came in on Saturday April 4th 2015, [redacted] is a previous customer of the dealerships and the salesperson [redacted]. They were looking for a Pick up truck in the area of $10,000.00, [redacted] took the customers out to the back of the lot were we keep our vehicles that are...

going to be sold at the Auction or to a Used Car Dealer (Wholesales). These are vehicles that we are not going to retail with a State of Maine Inspection Sticker or a Warranty. [redacted] explained to both of the parties that the vehicle could be sold as is with no inspection sticker and no warranty for a sale price of $10500.00 plus tax, title and doc fee. Both parties agreed to the price and the paper work was printed up for delivery. At point of the delivery were the paper was being signed with our finance manager ([redacted]) and [redacted], she stoped at the signing of the unsafe motor vehicle form and asked a question (this means we have no warranty) [redacted] explained to her what this meant and her boyfriend ([redacted]) at that time said [redacted] it is ok. Attached please see the 2 disclourers that where signed by [redacted] showing being sold as is and the state form showing the vehicle is Sold as a Unsafe Motor Vehicle with no sticker. The customers did take there vehicle to there own inspection station and got a sticker put on the vehicle for approximently $30.00. On April 29th the customer brought the vehicle in for a check engine light on and was looked at by one of our technicians and found that a cylinder 1 lifter had collapsed. The customer was called and explained of the stituation and gave a recommenedation of fixing one lifter or that we should replace all, the customer choose to replace all lifter and was given a price of $3100.00. When [redacted] came in to pick up the completed vehicle she was visual upset and wanted to only pay for half the bill because she stated she had a 50/50 warranty. When we tried to explaine that she bought the vehicle as is and tried to show her what she signed she did not want to talk about and left upset. Her boyfriend ([redacted]) called me about and hour afterwards and appoligized for the stituation and stated that he understood how the vehicle was bought and came in to pay the vehicle. [redacted] was very understanding and calm at the time of pick up. The dealership Sold the vehicle as is and with know warranty which [redacted] knew and is stated by all the forms that she has signed. It is very unfortunate that this has escaladed to where it is, we strive to keep every customer happy and stand behind what we promise to each customer.Sincerely,[redacted]General Manager

Good morning,                             We had talked with Mr. [redacted] several time on the phone about the 2011 [redacted]. After agreeing on a price on the...

car Frank Galos Chevrolet had agreed to pay for Mr. [redacted]'s Airline ticket to Maine. On April 16th [redacted] went to the Airport to pick up Mr. [redacted] and bring him to the dealership for the delivery of his vehicle. Upon getting to the store Mr. [redacted] evaluated the vehicle and asked us to take off stripes that were on the front fender and buff out the lights also there was a wire hanging from the rear defroster. Service was closed that Saturday, I got someone in from the Body shop to buff out the lights and take off the stripe. The vehicle had been inspected and passed Maine inspection laws, nothing was ever brought up about the tires when he was here or after arriving at home. The first phone call we ever received was after the tires had replaced. No one contacted us not Mr. [redacted] or where he had the tires put on to say there was a issue. The first call we got was after and where asked to pay for the tires. After a discussion we offered Mr. [redacted] 50% (600.00) which he said the cost was $1200.00 but that was not acceptable to him. Since then Mr. [redacted] has received a full reimbursement on his repair.

Mr. [redacted] came into service with a complaint about a rattling noise from his engine on his 2010 Cadillac [redacted]. Our Technician brought the vehicle in for inspection, upon looking at the car and investigating through **'s system we determined that the supercharger needed to be replaced which is a...

covered part from **. We ordered the new supercharger and replaced part, all parts that are replaced through warranty from ** need to be held and returned back to ** for investigation. These core parts do not belong to Frank Galos Chevrolet they belong to **. Mr. [redacted] has made a complaint to ** and has been told by them that the parts cannot be returned to him because they have failed. No one here has taken his parts, he asked to have the supercharger fixed and ** did so.Thank you,[redacted]Frank Galos Chevrolet
