Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
This is my response of complete dissatisfaction of the feedback and would like to persue a refund
I am not in agreement with the response that was given. I called for service and advised NOT to do any work prior to approval once at the premises. I was then called AFTER the plumber was already at the house with an unauthorized Associate that had already took action and pulled apart the tub along with the Associate informing me he had already removed the sheetrock from the ceiling and now refused to do anything additional till I pay him and advised he was leaving it that way.
At this point my husband was beside himself and contacted the plumber to
ask what he was charging us for and who gave him permission to do what he did
and that he did not appreciate the threat of not repairing the now damages done
to the ceiling. I also was informed by my tenant that there was only a little water stain and NO other damage such as he is claiming was collapsing. Along with that the house was for SALE through *** *** and the agent had just showed the house and also stated that his accusations were incorrect. Now these damages hindered the showings on the home until the Associate felt he could fit the repair into his schedule
Still after the claims of repairs my tenant said there was no improvement to the condition of the pluming and discontinued the use of that bathroom
I had consulted with a Roto rooter company for the purpose of confirming that if he did actually do what he claimed and with the correct equipment, he would have been able to chop up whatever he claimed to be clogging the pipes without all the other unapproved and unnecessary damagesThe only part I agree with is a screw that was missing out of the faucet and the plunger/stopper removed which has no baring on the stoppage
Since the day of this supposed service the tub is still non
functional and now requires a PROFESSIONAL to come in and do the job that I was
charge over $for without full consent.
I still want to pursue a refund of monies that I was forced to pay for
non approved services

Dear [redacted],

Responding to complaint ID# [redacted]:

Customer [redacted] called my office for...

services at her rental house at [redacted].  Request for service was second floor bathtub not draining.  Arrived at the residence and noticed first floor kitchen ceiling water damaged and almost collapsing.  Also, noticed parts to bath drain missing.  Called [redacted] and recommended removing linkage to bath drain on second floor to access for rotor rooting plumbing to clear drain stoppage.  Customer approved service to be performed. Attempted to clear stoppage with electric machine.  Called customer and explained that blockage could not be 100% cleared do to possible lodged obstruction in plumbing  on first floor ceiling.  Recommended for ceiling to be opened and to repipe plumbing to remove blockage. Partially cleared stoppage but not 100%.  Gave customer option to repipe plumbing, customer refused to go ahead with recommended work.  Charged customer $500.00 plus sales tax for time spent and rotor rooting performed. Did not open damage ceiling.  Customer then asked for referral for ceiling to be repaired from existing damage prior to arriving at the residence.  Customer then hired referral to repair ceiling.  The customer was made aware the problem will not be corrected 100% without the piping being replaced.  [redacted] called me direct and I explained to him what should be done to resolve problem.  Customer chose to not perform work and to wait to renovate the bathroom and replace plumbing at the time of renovation.

Thank you.

Review: Back last year my tenant had complained about the water not draining in the one bathroom in the hallway. I called Frank Kelly Plumbing & heating to please access the issue and advise.Instead when [redacted] called he had already taken the tub apart and had called in an associate who had pulled my ceiling below apart in order to access the damages without consulting me prior.Immediately after he claimed to have roto-routed the tub, my tenant said that nothing was done and there is still an issue. he refused to have his associate fix the ceiling until I paid in full. He also informed me that the bathroom behind it was the issue and not this one. That bathroom has since been repaired. The charges from [redacted] was for $543.00 for supposedly roto-routing and claiming there maybe something still stuck and it would cause him to have to pull the ceiling apart further and cut and replace piping. His associate who pulled the ceiling apart charged me over $350 to repair a 2x2 piece of sheetrock that neither had the authority to remove,To this day, I still have issues with the pluming and spoke to [redacted] and he just wanted to rip more things apart and look for more money. I think over $910.00 worth of bills to do NOTHING to correct the problem was enough to have new pluming.Desired Settlement: I would like half or all monies returned for not doing the job but butchering my ceiling and tub. Or I would like the repair of the pluming only to be completed.
