Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
This assumes that they actually worked on both units. I wasn't home and the housekeeper believes that the only work preformed was on the RO unit under the sink. If it is true that they worked on both units then I withdraw my complaint

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because
I have no way of knowing that the alignment (that I *did not request*) was done on my car since the paperwork I received from the dealership indicates that it was notFurther, the work I took the car in to have done remains undoneThis matter is NOT resolved

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The agreement...

referenced by the business is for the who;e house water softening unit, not the drinking water purification unit.  I am fully aware of the water softening units requirements.  They worked on the RO unit, not the water conditioning unit.

[Your Answer Here]
In the voicemail left by Peter on November *, 2016 no mention of not personally driving the vehicle was mentioned after leaving the message of the truck breaking down on the roadside. In fact he states, he cannot send a truck because one is not available to him and proceeds to ask if I have roadside assitance. The claim of being told not to drive an overheating vehicle is emphatically inaccurate and a misrepresentation of the conversation had with Peter. As of today, December [redacted], 2016, the vehicle is still not repaired and is sitting idly at Hyundai in Nyack, NY. A remedy for this debuckle of a situation was supposed to be had on Monday, 12/**/16, by Ken St[redacted] (General Sales Manager of Audi Palisades) and that has yet of happened. Instead of trying to cover tracks for selling a vehicle hat clearly was not service correctly and passing the buck onto the customer Volkswagen Palisades should be finding a solution to (1) make a disgruntled customer happy, (2) rectifying a situation that was not properly fixed the very first because it should not have happened again, (3) keep an open line of communication with said disgruntled customer and not dodge phone calls and messages. If Volkswagen Palisades cannot fulfill their responsibilities a law suit will be forthcoming.

Dear [redacted]: You purchased your car here at Palisades VW on September **, 2015. On September **, you called our service department to complain that the car was overheating. We immediately dispatched a tow service ([redacted]) to your location. You kept the driver waiting 2.5 hours...

before finally arriving to have the car towed. Per that driver, you told him that you were driving your overheating car to complete “errands”. I have a bill from the towing company where Palisades VW was charged extra because of the time that you forced him to wait there. At that time, Palisades VW replaced the coolant temperature sensor on your car. We completed the repair September ** and returned the car to you with 33,105 miles on it. You took an additional 7 days to pick up your car and return the loaner car provided for your convenience. On November *, you called Palisades VW and left [redacted] a message stating that your car was overheating and it had shut off once already because of it. You stated in that voice mail that you were en route to the dealership. Upon receipt of that voice mail Peter called you back immediately and told you NOT to drive your car as you would permanently damage the motor. You proceeded to continue to drive your overheating car to Palisades VW. It arrived here with 33,469 miles. The problem with your car this time was that there was a leak at the heater core which caused the coolant to leak out of your car. Because you chose to drive your overheated car to the dealership you blew out the head gasket, and warped the engine block. Palisades VW cannot be responsible for engine damage that was caused by willful disregard for the indicator that the car was overheating. It is not credible that any service professional would tell you that you could drive an overheating car 50 miles to the dealership especially since we had already sent a tow truck out to you for the first issue. I am sorry for the problems that you have had and we are doing our best to address them but we would not be in this situation had you not driven the car as it overheated.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

While I did not ask for the alignment work to be done, only for the alignment to be checked, that isn't the issue. The issue is that the computer-generated report of the alignment ostensibly done to my car indicates that either a) the work was done to another car and not mine or b) the work done to my car was to another set of standards, inappropriate for my vehicle. I again ask that my money be refunded.
