Mr*** ***, also known as *** ***" according to his profile in the trading application Offer Up where we made the deal, messaged our business and asked for the size "245/40/r20"We told him we didn't have that size but had a
bigger size, "245/50/r20"He denied the offer with the response "I can't do I have an Impala"We asked him if that size would rub and he said they were too bigWe agreed on getting him the size he kept asking for, and agreed on the price of $He then messaged us through text message asking if we have his tiresOur business was busy for a few days so we lagged with our responseHe kept asking if we received his tires and we kept telling him we would contact him when we acquire his tiresHe said he would get the tires from somewhere else on Monday, November We contacted him the following day asking him if he had purchased tires elsewhere, he said no, and we both agreed for him to finally come to our business for the tires late Wednesday afternoonMr*** arrived in a dark Chevrolet Impala with two inch rims in the back, and smaller, dark rims in the frontWe had the tires ready and Mr*** asked us to show him the tires before any work got doneWe complied and Mr*** inspected the tires and agreed with the purchaseWe took off the two tires from his vehicle and the tires he drove in with, were the same size we installedWe did not have to force the wheels on, a fallacy from the other partyWe finished installing the wheels and Mr*** left our tire business without a problemWe have video surveillance of the entire eventNow, if the tires were rubbing against the customer's car, we would have heard the rubbing and my team would have assisted the issueBut as the customer drove away, there was no noise, no improper vehicle handling, or smokeAlso, Mr*** states he contacted us later about the damages, which he did, but at no point in his complaint to us did he ask for a resolution to his issueAll Mr*** did was alert us about the damages, insult my employees, and threaten usWe tried to communicate with him about the issue in hopes that we could come to a resolutionWe told him that we are not responsible for any damages caused by the tires, for he asked for that specific size, he drove in with that size, he inspected the tires before and after mounting, and he drove out with the same sizeHe confessed to us this was his mistake but blames us for this issueMr*** became infuriated and began to use foul language and threaten us
