Upon viewing the amount due, it was expressed to our company that they did not have the funds available to pay for repairsRather then going through the courts to obtain funds owed via a mechanic lien, *** and her husband relinquished ownership of vehicle to our business voluntarilyVehicle was to be sold at a fair market value with the ***'s receiving any amount above what was due on billAfter two appraisals fine by reputable dealers in our area, it was discovered that the bill exceeded actual value of the vehicleVehicle was sold privately in February 2014, not months ago as stated in the original complaint and the sale price did not fully cover the bill owedBalance on bill after the sale remains at $3,000.00, not $6,as also stated in the complaintNo contact was made to our business regarding this manner until May This is not what would be considered an unfair business practiceThe vehicle was sold to cover expenses of repair
