Regarding ***
Mr*** Purchased the car on 4/25/and signed an agreement and a do-bill (statement of additional work promised by Franks) that states nothing else promised
We did clean the the headlight covers just before
delivery per Mr*** request
The plastic covers over the headlights on this car and most cars dull and fade it's so common that there are commercials on TV that sell quick clean solutions
The system that failed on Mr*** car after the 25th was an internal electronic control module, that could not be damaged by rubbing an external surface
Mr***'s car has full time driving lights that would have notified him via bright dash warning light if the headlight was non operational even during the day since the system is on all the time
Mr ***'s headlight worked at time of delivery and the car was sold as - is, his statement that he told the Salesperson *** of the problem after his test drive was not noted on the Do -Bill nor did *** have any recollection of being told the head light did not work when asked by me on the 28th of the same month
We had an open service department on the 25th that would have looked into the matter right then and there, plus for safety reasons we would not have allowed the car to be delivered knowing the headlights were not working
I believe that the system failed soon after delivery and hence we gave him a substantial discount on the repair as a goodwill gesture

First off, the malfunction only comes on when that system is activatedIn this case it was not until the following week when I drove the car in the eveningIt was only when I turned the lights on the malfunction warning came onIt was daylight when I bought the car so the warning was not displayedI do not understand why they would clean the headlight lenses when the car was dirtyI did sign the as is form but I was expecting the vehicle in god satety working orderA non operational headlamp in not in good working orderAnd the daytime running lights on the car are not the headlights so the malfunction warning would not display when the light switch is not activatedThe sellers response is not fully accurate and I have no doubt they new the light was out
