In response to Mr [redacted] 's complaint, we have attached the invoices and signed contract from both visits During the first visit the Technician did explain to him that the system was low on refrigerant it normally indicates a leak in the system At that point Mr [redacted] declined the recommended leak search decided to just add refrigerant in hopes that the system would continue working for the remainder of the summer When Mr [redacted] called in the second time on 9/11/our Technician informed him that he had a very large leak in the system and gave him the option to either repair the leaking part or replacing the equipment Mr [redacted] opted to replace the system, our technician provided an estimate and a contract was accepted to replace the system Being that Mr [redacted] agreed to replace the system, our Tech advised him that if he opted to add refrigerant to the system that we would subtract that amount from the cost to replace his system This is standard practice so that our client might have some AC relief until the date of the replacement That is also reflected on the contract that he signed When we attempted to contact him to set up his installation He stated that he wanted to wait on the installationWe tried to reach out to him several times after that, but did not receive any response Our technician followed company policy and provided the customer with his available options We are sorry that this was a negative experience for Mr [redacted] , we strive to deliver the best customer and technical service possible Our offer stands that the money spent to add refrigerant can be credited to the replacement price of the new system

Automatic Climate did some work to my heating/cooling system a couple years ago and I am now writing this review having observed the changes over that timeFor what I thought was a good price, they explained why my system was poorly functioning and proposed a couple solutionsThey were very involved in helping me understand the problems and potential solutionsThe work was completed quickly and professionally and I am happy with the resultI found this business through online reviews like this one, so I am leaving this here to help people in the future

This is the first time I have ever been completely frustrated in dealing with a company who isnt clear in its interactions with a customer! There has been more rhetoric and assumptions than pulling me aside and show me what the possible issue was?? Dont talk at me with numbers, HVAC jargon and assumptionsPart of the job is to get the customer to understand clearly that the problem is so a confident decision can be made! Regards, [redacted]

My experience with the Company found their technicians to be very skilled and conscientious They exercised good care in and around my home while performing their job and took the time to explain their process to me before and after performing the tasks If additional, unplanned work is necessary they take the time to explain the work, show any condition that related to or caused the unplanned work, and advise the cost before proceeding

This Company seems to value it's customers....Fair Prices, and Honest Service, is what I have experienced over the years with this company

You are dissatisfied in the manufacturer's warrantees from *** that came from the purchase of your new home with *** *** It was the responsibility of the *** *** to notify your of the need to register the equipment with *** for the extended warrantees. It was
impossible for Automatic Climate to register your equipment because we had zero access to your personal information. As far as the heat pump that was added later we did provide you with all of the information required to register the equipment. I am the owner and I'm sorry your found me rude, I will not tolerate threats to my business and coworkers. I was crystal clear in my offer to do anything in my power to help and was willing to sacrifice for you satisfaction until you began threatening us. At that point I found it necessary to discontinue any further interactions with you. That decision will stand

Automatic Climate is a great locally owned company that my family has had the pleasure of working with. They make sure their work is of great quality and go out of their way to make sure they back up what they have worked on in your house. I would recommend them hands down as one of the best companies in the Richmond, VA area when getting this type of work done on your home.

Automatic Climate, Inc has always provided a professional and courteous service. I feel very confident in their recommendations of service.

After receiving service from a number of different companies over the years, Automatic Climate provided the best service I have ever seen. Called on a Friday afternoon and received service the same day. I found that awesome being I was a new customer. The technician was polite and professional. I like the diagnostics information shared by the technician as well as the details listed within the invoice. We look forward working with Automatic Climate in the future.
