A number of Mr [redacted] statements are incorrect and misleading, the hot water portion of thesystem was never part of our contract with Mr [redacted] .The cost of Mr [redacted] Hot Water Tank which was purchased on line, by Mr [redacted] for$1,300.00.The cost of the [redacted] (tankless) Combi Boiler with all the needed components, parts, pumpsaccessories and controls suggested (only) by Air Dimensions is without labor $6,700.00.The [redacted] distributor and service representative have both confirmed that [redacted] did notmanufacture anything comparable in function, capacity or capability to the [redacted] (tankless) systemthat Air Dimensions suggested at the time of construction of Mr [redacted] 's residence.Air Dimensions Inccontracted with Mr [redacted] to install the following:A A [redacted] High Velocity system with a blower and evaporator module.BThe above unit included a variable speed ECM blower motor with a Smart Control.CA four (4) inch High Efficiency Air Filter along with a Three (3) stage, KW ElectricBack Up Heating Package.DThe system also included an Open Case so that a hot water coil could be easilyinstalled at a later date.EThe above was matched to an Armstrong High Efficiency, Seer, Two Stage HeatPump with A refrigerant.FA complete whole house High Velocity Ductwork System with Two (2) inch branchruns and return air duct with fresh air.GThe Ductwork System installed had Two (2) zones with Two (2) Thermostats whichwork independent of each other. This entire system was designed and installed with consideration of the Third (3rd) zone additionin the future per***'s specifications.Due to the design of Mr [redacted] 's residence, all the open spaces, the ductwork was designedand installed in the walls, joist spaces and held tight to the beams in the basement. There never was a boiler or Hot Water Heater included in Air Dimensions HVAC proposal orcontract with Mr [redacted] .Late November when the temperatures dropped below degrees Mr [redacted] call and askif Air Dimensions could install a hot water [redacted] Coil in the [redacted] Fan Coil system instead of the 15KWElectric Heat Package(see item C).We agreed and did so at no extra charge to Mr [redacted] .Mr [redacted] also requested at the same time if Air Dimensions could send a complete list of theequipment, accessories, parts, pumps and components that would work with his [redacted] equipment, toenable him to purchase the Hot Water Side of the system and save him money.Air Dimensions supplied Mr [redacted] a complete list, drawings and specification of the [redacted] High Efficiency (tankless) Combi Boiler System, Variable Speed Pumps and Wiring Diagrams for theSmart Zone Control SystemSEE EXAMPLE IMr [redacted] then telephoned requesting a meeting with he and his plumberAt this job meetingMr [redacted] 's plumber agreed to install the Domestic Hot Water side of the system with Mr [redacted] furnishing the unit, service check valves, pressure relief valves and all water fill valves for both domesticand home heating sides of Mr [redacted] 's system.Mr [redacted] requested that Air Dimensions furnish the copper pipe and labor to hook up theheating side of the systemWe agreed to furnish the copper pipe, labor, manifold pumps and controlsystem that would come with a [redacted] System.Later that week Mr [redacted] telephoned and stated that the Hot Water system had arrivedWethen met him at the house, identified that the system was -not a [redacted] ( tankless ) SystemWecarried the [redacted] system into the house and procured the installation book, upon reading weascertained that 60% of the needed parts, components and accessories had not been provided, therewas nothing in the [redacted] installation manual stating that it would work with the fan coil of the ***System. It was now well below degrees outside and the Heat Pump could not furnish the neededheat for the finish work inside the houseMr [redacted] telephoned and ask if we could hook up the ***system and wire in the low voltage reset control to get heat for construction purposes. At this time Mr [redacted] said that he would order the needed components, pumps andaccessories to complete the [redacted] System. We are not a [redacted] dealer and were unfamiliar with his [redacted] unit and the parts required. However we did manage to hook his [redacted] system up and were able to get heat on for continuedconstruction only.As stated in Mr [redacted] 's letter of complaint all worked well until the following winter of 2016.We had not heard from Mr [redacted] and were even unaware that he was residing in the house until hisphone call of January 6, in which he stated that he was having heating problems, the house wouldnot hold temperature, it continually went up and down.I ask Mr [redacted] at the time of his phone call if he had obtained the accessories, pumps andcomponents of his [redacted] System and had them installed and operational to complete the systemHisanswer was No.I then ask for the name and phone number of the [redacted] Rep or Dealer ( who was a neighbor)he had purchased his hot water heater from so I could call and get a parts list so he Mr [redacted] couldobtain the rest of his [redacted] System in order to get the system up to its full capacity.Mr [redacted] 's reply was that he had purchased the unit on line and not from a [redacted] dealerIthen explained to Mr [redacted] that I would assist him in resolving the issue of the missing partsI thencontacted the [redacted] Distributor to find out what components were required to match the [redacted] System. The following Monday I had a meeting with the [redacted] Distributor who is the [redacted] Distributor aswell and the [redacted] Service Rep.They explained that [redacted] did not make a wall hung tankless combi boiler that is comparable inits ability and capacity to provide both domestic hot water and hot water for heating simultaneously asthe [redacted] we had recommended.I then e-mailed Mr [redacted] the findings of the meeting.A [redacted] Tankless System has a dual stainless steel heat exchangers one to provide domestichot water, capable of producing 199K BTU an hrand one heat exchanger for home heating capable ofproducing 120K BTU an hr.The [redacted] System has only one heat exchanger and shuts down the home heating whendomestic hot water is required, it is set up for base board fin tube radiators only.Even with a primary /secondary loop installed on the system the [redacted] System that Mr [redacted] purchased on line, is nat capable of matching the [redacted] heat output for domestic and heating hotwater at the simultaneously. The [redacted] rep had recommended a low flow header and a stainless steel buffer tank beinstalledthis requires the addition of two circulating pumps and the removal of the outdoor resetcontrol, however this will greatly reduce the efficiency of the equipment and Mr [redacted] will stillexperience some heating difficulties. When there is call for domestic hot water the [redacted] heater shuts down the home heatingsystem, this means that in the morning, evenings and coldest part of the day/nite when the shower, dishwasher, laundry are in use the heating system will stop furnishing hot water for heating. The other problem is that when the two stage heat pump goes into defrost like all heat pumpsdo, the heat pump is in cooling mode , the outdoor coil is the hot coil and the indoor coil is the cold onethus in defrost mode it is now cooling the house. We have responded to all of Mr [redacted] 's e-mails, attempted to explain what his problems are, offer ways to assist in correction as per ***See Example IIThe only response from Mr [redacted] we have received was a demand that Air Dimensionsneeded to come out furnish and install all of the components and accessories of his [redacted] System, hefailed to acquire, at our expense. His last e-mail stated we needed to send him a check for $4,or he would report us to theRevdex.com and take us to court.Having met with our attorney Mr [redacted] ***, we are prepared to respond to any requestfor information from the Revdex.com of Central OhioHowever as for Mr [redacted] 's extortiondemand of $4,we have informed Mr [redacted] to take all necessary steps to protect the legal rightsof Air Dimensions, Inc.Air Dimensions has no intentions of paying for or purchasing any equipment, components orparts Mr [redacted] agreed to acquire/furnish in the first place.Air Dimensions did what Mr [redacted] requested with what he furnished in order to get heat on inthe house for construction finish so he could hurry and close out his construction loan.Respectfully,William rB***, Pres
