Franklin, Ferguson & Associates., has received the correspondence regarding ID # [redacted] dated Friday, July 1st After collecting all information and reviewing our recorded records, I am authorized to respond as followsOn 06/30/Customer spoke with Christopher J., an employee whom is no longer with our companyThe call was initially in regards to an [redacted] , owed by his wifeCustomer did state that the debt in question was paid off previously, and was directed to send the PIF letter to our officeGenerally, upon receiving a PIF letter, we would make sure it is in fact the same debt and remove the file from our databaseWe also sent documentation to customer so he may check his records thoroughly in the event we received this file by mistakeTo date, we have not received any documentation showing this account has been paid, nor have we been notified that it is being disputedTo our records, this file is within statute of limitationsIf this is an error, we will certainly update the account accordinglyIt is correct that representatives are not given the specific details regarding our filesThey are given only basic necessary information pertaining to debts we receiveRepresentatives are not authorized or given knowledge as to which agencies received this file prior to being placed with us, nor are they able to see the purchase historyChristopher Jis no longer a representative with our company as we do not condone the type of manner in which he handled that situation, which prompted us to closely monitor his records and make the decision to let him go as he does not reach the standards we set for our representativesWe have updated the status to this file as closedIf you have any questions or concerns relative to the above referenced case, please do not hesitate to contact our office furtherMsSamantha R

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have yet received any notification from the company that they own the debt except phone calls And yes the statue of limitations has expiredAlso, who did they purchase the debt from I have not received any notification on this debt in over yearsTherefore, I believe it has been resolved Regards, [redacted]

no longer with our company. The call was initially in regards to an [redacted], owed by his wife. Customer did state that the debt in question was paid off previously, and was directed to send the PIF letter to our office. Generally, upon receiving a PIF letter, we would make sure it is in fact the same debt and remove the file from our database. I have yet received any notification from the company that they own the debt except phone calls.  And yes the statue of limitations has expired. Also, who did they purchase the debt from.  I have not received any notification on this debt in over 3 years. Therefore, I believe it has been resolved.
