An automated universal dataform has been submitted to
TransUnion through ***, a web based software used to correct errors and
respond to disputes, correcting the tradeline to reflect that it was included
in a chapter bankruptcy. The way the
representative handled the process of
researching the error change request has
been discussed and policies are in place to ensure this will not happen again. A request to remove the inquiry signed by
*** *** and a Franklin Financial representative was submitted to
Transunion on Friday, July 18. We feel
this problem has been resolved and does not require any further action. Please contact me if there is anything further questions

A payment was made by a male in the office. The payment of $was given to Jaclyn. This is the amount that was posted to the account. After the payment was made, Sharon called and said only $was applied and $was given. Jaclyn counted her drawer to make sure there
wasn’t a mistake made, and the drawer balanced. The male that made the payment came back in and told the collection manager that he was only given $to bring in. Sharon was told by the collection manager what he said. We believe this issue is satisfied, please contact us if that is incorrect. Sincerely, Lucas H*** *** *** ***

Debt cancellation coverage was purchased and would reduce a
remaining balance (difference between insurance carrier’s settlement check and
net payoff) up to $1200.  In this case,
the full balance was received from met life insurance company.  On September 30, 2015 the amount of...

$2492.33
was applied.  There was no remaining
balance.  There was no balance to reduce.  The unused portion of debt reduction premium was refunded.  A new loan financing a different vehicle was originated on 10/13/15.  If there are any further questions please let us know.

Review: I heard many great things in regards to auto loans from franklin financial. I was took a chance and applied for a loan. The issues arise from not hearing back from this company. It has been over a week and I still don't have an answer or approval or denied. I have called multiple time, left voicemails, spoken with a representative that hurried me off the phone and still I have no answers. I know that they processed my application, due to the credit inquiry on my credit report. So I want to know what is going on. I am scared because they have all my information. I feel like I am being scammed.Desired Settlement: A reply, I just need answers. It seems like a issue won't get resolved until a third party is involved.

Regards,

Review: I received a billing receipt on June 22, 2013 saying Franklin had gotten a payment of 225.00 that was applied towards my vehicle. The principal payment was 173.35 and the interest was 31.17, that leaves a shortfall of 20.48. After being hung up on several times by their representative, I was told that I did not have insurance on the car and that Franklin was applying a surcharge for insurance on the vehicle. I informed the representative that I did have insurance on the vehicle and that the policy was provided when I purchased the car. Franklin refused to acknowledge that Allstate and USAA were appropriate insurance companies and that since I did not provide insurance that the surcharges would continue. I had a rep from USAA contact then with the insurance information for the automobile and Frankiln still refuses to apply the 20.48 to the principal on the loanDesired Settlement: I would like for Franklin to apply the 20.48 towards the principal and any other monies that were taken illegally to be applied to the principal. Furthermore, I would like their insurance personal be made known who is a reputable insurance company and who is not. For example, Allstate and USAA are acceptable.

Business

Response:

I am writing in response to complaint [redacted]. On August 2, 2013 insurance was verified and Franklin Financial was added as loss payee on [redacted]' policy. The payment was applied to reflect the $20.48 was deducted from the principal balance. We feel this problem has been resolved and does not require any further action. Please contact me if there are any further questions.

Review: I contacted Franklin Financial regarding information shown incorrectly on my credit report, that was filed on a Chapter 7, Bankruptcy. I spoke to [redacted], a representative of the company that told me to fax over the recently pulled credit report, that shows the incorrect reporting, at which time she would review the documents and contact me. Approximately, 2 weeks later I faxed [redacted] the documents as requested, waited about 2 hours and called her to follow up. Upon speaking to [redacted] I learned she ran my credit without my permission, neither written or verbally. I was immediately angered! She kept apologizing but asking, "what was the issue?" and stating, "It won't affect your credit score". I have been working to rebuild my credit since the bankruptcy 2 years ago and am very aware that an inquiry on your credit can and will affect the score. [redacted],Franklin Financial's representative, is also very aware as a creditor that an inquiry to your credit report from a creditor will affect the score. It was extremely unprofessional and unethical for a creditor to run my credit without my consent or knowledge. I simply contacted the company for them to correct their incorrect reporting, just to be further inconvenienced by them. When I first spoke with [redacted] she explained the procedure to correct the error on my report and running my credit was definitely not stated. I feel helpless, victimized & violated by this company.Desired Settlement: I would like the business practices of Franklin Financial to be closely viewed, as I am sure I am not the first person they've violated or victimized. I would like the representative, [redacted] to be reprimanded. She is a creditor and should be aware of how inquiries affect the credit score of clients. I would like the inquiry removed from my credit report so that no further damage affects my credit.

Review: My car was stolen and I have GAP insurance on my loan with franklin financial corp. I call to have the GAP insurance filed so it would pay off the loan and I could get a new car. They told me they are not filing the GAP insurance because your car insurance is paying off the loan it would be taken off the loan.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the GAP insurance filled and the money sent to me so I can get a new car.

Review: I finished paying off on a1996 bmw 328i over two years ago. I traded it in on a newer vehicle and the dealership is saying the title still has a lien on it. I contacted Franklin and they told me that I had to come into their office to get the lien release form. I told them that Milwaukee is over 450 miles away and for them to fax over the release to the dealership. Franklin said NO!Desired Settlement: Fax the lien release to the dealership

Business

Response:

The lien was released electronically on 3/27/15. No fax for a dealership was given, we were unable to fax a copy of the release notice. please let us know if anything else is required.
