I am rejecting this response because: First thank you for taking the time to respond and having your pumps and POS systems inspected, however I disagree with your reasoning as to why I was overcharged since my receipt proves I was charged the $fee that is added when one uses the debit card option (see attached receipt) I can provide my bank statement providing this same amount was charged also and that the fee did not drop off if necessary I can also recite from memory the steps I took when I made the purchase at the pump To begin I selected the debit card transaction option, inserted my debit card, then said yes to the $fee, selected gas grade, then proceed to pump gas Not sure where or when the option to cancel my debit card election was provided, perhaps if one declines the fee, but in that case why is the fee still being assessed (again see receipt)? Is there a fee for using ones credit card too that customers are not being made aware of? You mentioned that you've never had issues in the time you've owned the business, but that never means that there is none I chose to speak up because this is a repeat issue at your business for meThe first time this occurred, just a couple months prior to the December incident, the staff at the registered called someone to let them know of the overcharge issue at the pumps and I was even issued a refund for the overcharged amount Maybe your manager(s) is/are failing to inform you of issues staff encounter throughout their day with any of the pumps I was part of that regular customer base you state you have, and feel let down by a business that I have supported since its opening Once again I kindly ask that I just be reimbursed the amount I was overcharged

While this happened I was out of townWhen I came back the next day I called ** *** techs to come look at the pumps, since this is the first time ever this issue has been brought up of me owning the place for almost years** *** came out looked at the software on POS system and also on
the pumps and pointed out that there was no issue at allUpon talking with the technicians, we figured out customer did swipe the card as debit but then later changed her mind to use it as credit and didn't cancel the transactionI must point out I do have appropriate paper work from the Technician stating that there is no problems with all the dispensers or the POS systemThe Techs came to our site on December 23, to check the customer complainIt kind of personally irritates me when customers don't use there "common sense" and are quick to point out the business faultWhen in reality there is nothing wrong with the business I understand everyone makes mistakes but this is just beyond ridiculousAnd if it was doing fraud I wouldn't be in businessNow I am short $that ** *** charged me to come out and look at itNow is the customer *** *** going to pay for that?We see hundreds of people everyday and nobody I mean nobody of me owning the place has filed a complaint against us we are family owned business and we can proudly say over 80% of our customers are regular customersif it helps the customer can call Bz service techs and I can conference it and she can personally talk to them** *** has been in servicing gas stations for over years and they are reputable companyand I have owned the business for yearsAgain if any questions give me a call or email me more than happy to help.Sent on: 1/3/2:50:PM

I am rejecting this response because: First thank you for taking the time to respond and having your pumps and POS systems inspected, however I disagree with your reasoning as to why I was overcharged since my receipt proves I was charged the $0.50 fee that is added when one uses the debit card option (see attached receipt).  I can provide my bank statement providing this same amount was charged also and that the fee did not drop off if necessary.  I can also recite from memory the steps I took when I made the purchase at the pump.  To begin I selected the debit card transaction option, inserted my debit card,  then said yes to the $0.50 fee, selected gas grade, then proceed to pump gas.  Not sure where or when the option to cancel my debit card election was provided, perhaps if one declines the fee, but in that case why is the fee still being assessed (again see receipt)?  Is there a fee for using ones credit card too that customers are not being made aware of?  You mentioned that you've never had issues in the time you've owned the business, but that never means that there is none.  I chose to speak up because this is a repeat issue at your business for me.
