We were out of hot water on July for over a weekThey put a new boiler and my water is Luke warmWhen you shower we have to make it quickThey won't discount off any rent and the maintenance stinks

I have lived in the Sterling Apts. at [redacted] since Feb. 2015. Last summer the a/c didn't work. My children and I lived her with temperatures in the high 80's sometimes 90's. They brought us a portable a/c unit but the temperatures never went down below 89 degrees during the day. My utility bill exceeded $500. In Oct I was told they ordered a new a/c and would be installing it in a week or so. Here it is May 2016 and still no new a/c. I started asking about the new a/c in Feb. when I paid my rent. I asked again in March & April. I have called them every week, even sometime 2-3 times a week. On April 8th I talked to Michael, the manager. He sent the a/c mgr to my apt. He told me the a/c was ordered and would be there soon. On April 15th I was told the a/c unit was here and they were waiting on a crane. It has been a month and I have called them twice a week. No one has come by or answered my questions. On May 12th I called again to be told they are waiting on parts and they didn't know when it would be installed. It was 104 today and it was 92 degrees last night in my apt. I finally talked to Michael the office mgr and he said they were going to bring me a portable a/c again. It's still 87 in here at 9:30 pm. They have managed to build a basketball court, tennis court, a doggie walk, paint the outside of all the apts and remove old big trees but they can't manage to make repairs necessary for the welfare of the tenants. I can't afford to move and I can't go through another summer of no working a/c and utilities of $500 or more because they won't replace or fix the a/c. I know they are other tenants living here that are going through the same thing. We don't have anyone to turn to for help and don't know what else to do.
I would like them to replace the a/c unit and give me a credit or reduction on my rent.

I am writing in response to the complaint #10722180, the air conditioning unit for apartment #214 was replaced on May 26, 2016. The resident should not be having any further issues with the AC unit.Thank you, Michael P[redacted]Community ManagerSterling on 28th[redacted]Phoenix, Arizona 85029O. ###-###-####F. ###-###-####[redacted]
