On July 14th Franklin's Specialty Services Division (our sister company is Rose Pest Solutions in Chicago) completed a heat treatment for only 2 bedrooms at [redacted] as per requested by Ms. [redacted] on our signed bed...

bug service contract. On the service order **NO WARRANTY** was implicated on the order instructions due to Ms. [redacted] only wanting 2 bedrooms heated, instead of the recommended amount of rooms for desired results. Ms. [redacted] was told that there would be no warranty for this treatment. Most heat treatments, when completed, come with two follow up visits, which we use as a warranty to make sure the treatment was as successful as possible due to the nature of this particular parasitic insect. Because Ms. [redacted] declined the recommended full treatment, these warranty visits were null and void.
About 8 months after the treatment, we first heard back from Ms. [redacted], who insisted we owed her follow up visits. She indicated that she seen spots on the Hospital (mechanical) Bed in Bedroom #2 again and had just noticed when they were changing the bedding so they looked further. Even though no warranty was in place, [redacted] performed an inspection for this location on 3/8/17. During his inspection, he found an abundance of both dead bed bugs, and about 10-15 OLD skin casts, but no live bed bug activity. He did vacuum up all the old evidence. However, she would not sign the inspection report on the advice of her attorney, she stated. A second follow up was scheduled and completed on 3/21/17 to try and make things good with this customer. Again, no signature retrieved from customer.
We have done our due diligence and then some for Ms. [redacted] and we do not believe that another service or charge is necessary due to the fact that we didn't find any live bed bug activity after completing two no charge follow up appointments 8 months after our initial treatment. For the record, the Branch Manager, did offer a conventional treatment (as opposed to heat) to Ms. [redacted] on the second follow up appointment of 3/21/17 if she did find live activity after we left, but Ms. [redacted] declined it with no reason.
