Lets address some  untruths.1.  The only SIGNAGE is to contact THEM DIRECTLY IN CASE OF PROBLEM, the name of their company, the address and phone number.  There was no available VENDING ATTENDANT, I sent picture of the truck and was told the VENDINIG ATTENDANT was in the building, but couldn't be found.  2.  On the machines, in the intake area, only has the name of their company and phone number.  I got the address, which was pointed out to me by SEVERAL of the CO's, that matched the truck that was sitting outside.  More likely it reloads food machines between sessions.  There are no receipts given to show proof.  Its a running display , on the machine, which makes prompts to load machine with monies, the amount that's loaded and/or to purchase cards.  THERE IS NO SET AMOUNT OF HOW MUCH TO LOAD FOR THE VENDING MACHINE, likely  because their prices.  The prompts DO NOT GIVE YOU A CUT OF $50.  I've used the SAME MACHINE, in previous visits.  The purpose of the card was and always been for the food machines.  There is not a gift shop, like in an airport or a hospital.  Inmates, physical gifts, have to go through the prison's system first.  Monetary gifts have to go in the machine and can not exceed $100 per month, as I have been informed by the inmates I was there to visit.  There is a machine to load to put on the inmates books.  That's not the purpose for which I loaded the VENDING CARD MACHINE.  When I loaded that card and was unable to use it in the food machines, I had to return to the inmate intake area, go to my car for more cash, to purchase a NEWER card out of the same machine, to load it, to return to the inmate vending machine area to make purchases.  My question is how does a machine that take my monies to load a card, wont let me use it to purchase food, but I have to return to the same vending machine to purchase a newer card to return to the exact very same vending machines to make the same intended purchases?  3.  The C/O's are employed with the Chillicothe Correctional Institute, whereas, they have no control over the vending machines, to switch out a unwanted purchase or a non received item.  There jobs are to watch the inmates.  They have no problem informing visitors of their roles.  They don't attend to the vending machines.  It is where I  learned who suppose to have owned and ran that service for visitors.  4.  If this company didn't handle this facility, how was I able to purchase their newer card and use their vending facilities in the exact same vending?   I don't know how long this company been in place, this hasn't been the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time i've had problems with these machines.  There are times where I have visited and the machines DIDN'T WORK AT ALL.  Nothing is 100% perfect.  If the Revdex.com has to move in favor of the company so be it.  But I will be bringing it to other concerned parties attention.  One way or another, there is a problem with this company and them wanting them to own up to problems customers bring up.  Looks to me like that they are that hard up to keep complainers  monies and not simply  rectify the problems.  I'm in Florida, I can't drop what i'm doing and run back to do an INVESTIGATIVE REPORT on "DEFECTIVE MACHINES" or SHODDY BUSINESSES.  By the way, I've sent my proof to the Revdex.com and to this company, which I was able to gather before leaving Ohio.  I've sent that card to that company twice, they still haven't returned it.  If they were truly credible, they would've sent me this letter at my 1st request, instead of a HAND WRITTEN PINK STICKY NOTE, with no name, no address, no phone number.  Cut corner's on responses, cut corners on business.  My opinion.  That  marked another factor of me questioning their PROFESSIONALISM!  It's a matter of principal.  Yeah, I'd like the return of my monies.  That's a given. I just don't like their business practices.  Let me know!  One way or another.

I received the notification of Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] concerning [redacted]. Please note a fewconcerns we have. The cash to card machine is used to purchase a gift type card to use to purchase fooditems in a vending machine within a correction facility. The correctional institutions are...

cashless andthese cards are purchased prior to entering the facility.* There is signage that clearly states there are "No Cash Refunds".* There is a $50.00 maximum that can be loaded on the card, it is not even possible to have$53.00 on a card.* If an item does not vend and is seen by the Vending Attendant or CO a food replacement item isgiven.* When the card was sent into our office,it was for the "Ross Correctional Institution", we do notservice this location, therefore the card was returned to the customer.* If this card was actually purchased at Chillicothe Correctional, the current card can still be usedat Chillicothe Correctional until the fund are depleted. As you can see, there are processes in place within the CorrectionaI Institutions that are different fromthe standard vending machine on Main Street. With that said, if you have any further questions, pleasefeel free to contact me at ###-###-####.Sincerely,Todd M W[redacted]General Manager
