Revdex.com: I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[I cannot consider this matter closed? While I got the money put into the defective product back through my own footwork, the manufacturer referenced in my complaint, Franklin Wireless, did not respond to the full substance of my complaint registered with the Revdex.com in July of ? What issue was, casually, addressed, was only as a dilatory afterthought, with no active countering motion on the part of said manufacturer of the product, the footwork necessary, as I've stated, being my own? There remains no full resolution of the matter as registered at this site; to wit, a) the unreasonable number of phone calls necessitated to no less than technicians, and an additional number of CSR's between mid-January of 2017, and mid-September of 2017, inclusive -- a period of months of trouble with the product (two Rhotspots) and service, involving hours upon hours of phone waiting time and dealing with equipment, testing, pushing buttons, etc.; b) the loss of information over the internet due to faulty manufacture of both of those Rhotspots; and c) the time involved attempting to retrieve the data lost due to the two faulty Rhotspots? There remains no resolution of these matters; and as it stands, the outcome is not by any means satisfactory, as I have also expressed to the chief financial officer of the company in an email of 9-29-2017.] Regards, [redacted] ***

I wanted to follow up with you regarding the closure of this case. Following receipt of this complaint, I contacted Mr*** (he's the person who filed the complaint) to better understand this situation. After this, we contacted *** (his mobile phone carrier) about the situation and
they notified a company called Mobile Cit*** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** contacted him and refunded the money that he was requesting be refunded to him (the cost of the mobile hotspot device plus several months of service charges I received confirmation from Mr*** on September that he received his refund, so this case should be ***ed as closed. Thank you,*** ***Chief Financial OfficerFranklin Wireless Corp.*** *** *** ***

A full refund of the device was provided to the customer in addition to a refund for several months of bills paid for Internet access. In addition to this, the customer is requesting he be paid for the time he spent seeking the refunds as well as compensation for lost data. Our warranty as provided with the device excludes special, indirect and consequential damages, so we are unable to provide compensation for these types of items
