Frank's Air Conditioning & Heating

Our air conditioner seemed not to be operating correctly, so we phoned Frank's to come and have a look.

The technician advised that the unit needed a new motor, at a cost of $400.00. While my wife came to advise me of the situation (I was elsewhere in the park) the new motor was installed. I told my wife that the unit was still under warranty, having been installed by Frank's a few years earlier.

When she provided the original bill of sale and warranty information the new motor was removed and the old one put back in.

We were charged $75.00 for a service call, and the defrost sensor was adjusted. The unit works fine now.

I feel that Frank's tried to rip me off by installing a new (not required) motor, at an outrageous price ($400.00).
