Review: On January 19, 2015 I drove my 2011 BMW X5 to Frank's Auto Body in North Brunswick for rear end body work. My claim number [redacted] was approved through State Farm Insurance Company. I spoke with [redacted] Owner and his wife[redacted] regarding my vehicle on four different occasions January 26, February 9, February 16(in person), February 19, regarding my X5. [redacted] told me that he was finished with the vehicle and awaiting an adjuster from State Farm. State Farm told me that unexplained charges were pending. I received a call on the afternoon of February 19 from Frank's Auto Body that my X5 was ready for pickup. I met with [redacted] owner on February 20 to pick up my vehicle. He told me that he was going to start it to warm it up. My X5 was parked in front of the body shop unlocked with the key inside. I walked with [redacted] to my vehicle. He attempted to start the vehicle two times (which was never an issue previously). The computer began to malfunction immediately and various codes began to display on the screen. [redacted] assured me that the vehicle was ok and that only the tire needed air. However, he attempted to reset the computer but it would not allow him to. One of the body shop service men put air in the tire. When I questioned the computer codes again. He told me that the computer would reset as I was driving. The computer did not reset. Additional codes began to display until the vehicle shut off as I was driving and would not start again. It had to be towed to the nearest BMW dealer. I called [redacted] and left a message on his voice mail. When he returned my call I inquired as to what happened during the repair and informed him that he computer codes progressed and the vehicle shut off after leaving him and had to be towed. He offered no probable cause, advise, or truth. [redacted]' from BMW of Freehold also attempted to ascertain the root cause through [redacted] provided him with only a portion of the repairs that he claimed to make.Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to tell the truth to myself and [redacted] at BMW of Freehold about the error that his auto body shop made because my X5 is still not operable so that they can attempt to repair the issue. BMW of America and State Farm at now involved in the mishap that [redacted] caused. [redacted] has not been honest with any of the parties involved. He submitted partial claims to BMW of Freehold from what he submitted to State Farm. I have charges and repair bills pending for diagnostic test, labor, etc. [redacted] needs to pay for the bills for all of the work being done since the X5 started malfunctioning when he started the truck. He is dishonest and possibly hiding corrupt activity with my X5.
