THE CUSTOMER ORIGINALLY CAME IN FOR THE HEATED SEAT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE COMING ON AND GOING OFFOUR TECHNICIAN TESTED AND FOUND FAULT CODES IN SYSTEM AND FOLLOWED DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS AND TESTED RESISTANCE ON THE BACK AND BOTTOM HEATED SEAT ELEMENTSTECHNICIAN FOUND THEY HAVE HIGH RESISTANCE CAUSING CONCERNWE ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER IN WRITING ON THE FIRST REPAIR ORDER THAT THE CONTROL MODULE MAY ALSO BE BAD AS WELLHOWEVER WE FOUND A SERVICE BULLETIN THAT ADVISED US TO REPROGRAM THE HEATED SEAT CONTROL MODULEWE REPROGRAMMED THE MODULE AND INSTALLED BOTH NEW DRIVER HEATED SEAT ELEMENTS, TESTED AND SEAT WAS NOW OPERATING NORMALLYCUSTOMER RETURNED SHORTLY AFTER TO ADVISE US THAT THE DRUIVERS FRONT SEAT SEEMED LOOSE IN THE TRACK AND WE ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT WE ONLY REMOVED THE CUSHION AND THE SEAT TRACK HAS SOME PLAY AND THE TRACK WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED THE CORRECT THAT LITTLE AMOUNT OF PLAY, CUSTOMER DECLINED REPLACING TRACK AT THIS TIMECUSTOMER THEN RETURNED ON 11/29/STATING THE HEATED SEAT WAS COMING ON BY ITSELFWE RECHECKED FOR CODES AND INSPECTED OUR REPAIRS AND AFTER TESTING WE FOUND A CHAFFED WIRE IN WIRING HARNESS FOR THE ADJUSTABLE POWER PEDALS WHICH WAS CAUSING THE VOLT REFERECE CIRCUIT TO BE UNDER SPECIFICATIONS(UNDER VOLTS) AND CAUSED HEATED SEAT TO TURN ONWE REPAIRED THE CHAFFED WIRE AND RETESTED -SEAT WAS OPERATING AFTER WE REPAIRED CHAFFED WIREHOWEVER CUSTOMER CALLED BACK ON 12/7/AND ADVISED SEAT WAS STILL COMING ONI CONTACTED CUSTOMER DIRECTLY BY PHONE AND SET THE CUSTOMER UP TO COME BACK ON FEBRUARY TO RECHECK THE HEATED SEAT SYSTEM AND ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER WE WOULD PROVIDE HIM WITH COURTESY TRANSPORATION DURING OUR DIAGNOSTICI ADVISED CUSTOMER WE WILL LOOK AT VEHICLE AT NO CHARGEI ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER WE WOULD LIKE TO FIX THE VEHICLE INSTEAD OF JUST REFUNDING HIM THE $AND CUSTOMER WAS AGREEABLE TO LET US LOOK AT IT AND SEE WHAT WE CAN DOI WILL UPDATE THE CASE ONCE CUSTOMER RETURNS ON THE 1ST FOR DIAGNOSTIC

OUR TECHNICIAN TESTED AND FOUND FAULT CODES IN SYSTEM AND FOLLOWED DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS AND TESTED RESISTANCE ON THE BACK AND BOTTOM HEATED SEAT ELEMENTS. CONCERN. WE ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER IN WRITING ON THE FIRST REPAIR ORDER THAT THE CONTROL MODULE MAY ALSO BE BAD AS WELL. HOWEVER WE FOUND A SERVICE BULLETIN THAT ADVISED US TO REPROGRAM THE HEATED SEAT CONTROL MODULE. WE REPROGRAMMED THE MODULE AND INSTALLED BOTH NEW DRIVER HEATED SEAT ELEMENTS, TESTED AND SEAT WAS NOW OPERATING NORMALLY. CUSTOMER RETURNED SHORTLY AFTER TO ADVISE US THAT THE DRUIVERS FRONT SEAT SEEMED LOOSE IN THE TRACK AND WE ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT WE ONLY REMOVED THE CUSHION AND THE SEAT TRACK HAS SOME PLAY AND THE TRACK WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED THE CORRECT THAT LITTLE AMOUNT OF PLAY, CUSTOMER DECLINED REPLACING TRACK AT THIS TIME. CUSTOMER THEN RETURNED ON 11/29/16 STATING THE HEATED SEAT WAS COMING ON BY ITSELF. WE RECHECKED FOR CODES AND INSPECTED OUR REPAIRS AND AFTER TESTING WE FOUND A CHAFFED WIRE IN WIRING HARNESS FOR THE ADJUSTABLE POWER PEDALS WHICH WAS CAUSING THE 5 VOLT REFERECE CIRCUIT TO BE UNDER SPECIFICATIONS(UNDER 5 VOLTS) AND CAUSED HEATED SEAT TO TURN ON. WE REPAIRED THE CHAFFED WIRE AND RETESTED -SEAT WAS OPERATING AFTER WE REPAIRED CHAFFED WIRE. HOWEVER CUSTOMER CALLED BACK ON 12/7/16 AND ADVISED SEAT WAS STILL COMING ON. I CONTACTED CUSTOMER DIRECTLY BY PHONE AND SET THE CUSTOMER UP TO COME BACK ON FEBRUARY 1 2017 TO RECHECK THE HEATED SEAT SYSTEM AND ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER WE WOULD PROVIDE HIM WITH COURTESY TRANSPORATION DURING OUR DIAGNOSTIC. I ADVISED CUSTOMER WE WILL LOOK AT VEHICLE AT NO CHARGE. I ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER WE WOULD LIKE TO FIX THE VEHICLE INSTEAD OF JUST REFUNDING HIM THE $116.00 AND CUSTOMER WAS AGREEABLE TO LET US LOOK AT IT AND SEE WHAT WE CAN DO. I WILL UPDATE THE CASE ONCE CUSTOMER RETURNS ON THE 1ST FOR DIAGNOSTIC.
