Franks sent a person to our home to fix 2 cracks. He repaired one incorrectly and Franks sent out another person who fixed it right. The first guy who came out made a huge mess all over our basement floor from stepping in the cement stuff he was using on the cracks. Franks had the guy who repaired the first guys mistake also clean the floor. This did not work. My husband cleaned it twice as well and I cleaned it once. Nothing is cleaning up the mess. Franks offered to send this guy out to try again. I cancelled that appointment because I dont want them using chemicals in my home as my husband has severe sensitivity to them. *** was what Franks used first, as did we, but since that didnt work we didnt want any more attempts. It is obvious the whole floor will need fresh paint. Our basement floor was freshly painted last winter and now it is ruined. By the way, when I cancelled the appointment for them to come try to clean it again they never even asked why or expressed remorse for our terrible experience with them. I would never recommend Frank's to anyone.

About 1 month ago we had Shane from Franks plumbing run an extension of a gas line so that we could use our gas dryer in our new house which was set up for an electric dryer. Part of the work order included taking apart the hot water tank and putting it back together to accomplish the extension. The work was completed, we paid and Franks left. The next day I noticed we did not have hot water. Shane from Franks forgot to relight our pilot light on the hot water tank and when we called Franks to relight it for us they were good about it. However whem Shane arrived to relight it he deflected and scapegoated to it must be an old hot water tank etc, you may need it replaced. I let this go and didn't argue with him knowing fulm well we had the entire house inspected before buying it and our inspector checked for recalls and the age of all of our appliances- they were not in need of replacement and were all in the middle of their life cycle so to say the hot water tank is old and needs to be replaced is a lie and deflection and the inability to take responsibility for not properly doing his job. Fast forward to the rain storm a week and a half ago. We had a transferable warranty for beams and crack repair etc. When a tech came to charge us for the transfer he came down our basement stairs, stepped two more feet into the basement and said if the mortor for the beams crumbles to call them and they will fix it. Right next to that was a repaired crack. He looked at that and said if that leaks we will fix it. When the extreme rain came our basement cracks leaked during the storm we called Franks and they came out to inspect the work after we emailed them pictures of the leakage and their Specialist Frank came out and basically said the cracks not leaking were not repaired by them. He scapegoated and made excuses and basically said if the drain tile is collapsed and with all the heavy raim that the water coming in was due to the drain tiles and drainage and had nothing to dp with their work down there. He then tried to tell me that the sump pump looked like an unpermitted job etc. Just fishing for work and $$$$ to be made. We thanked him and said if he can never guarantee that the basement will never leak that there is zero point in spending money on it. Have a great day etc. Fast forward to thursday 8/29. We smelled gas as we were coming down our stairs into the basement and called national fuel and they found an L joint leaking near furnace, applied dope to the joint and the leak was permanently fixed in thay location by them. Out of an abundance of caution as new homeowners we bought a gas meter available for sale at your local hardware store or *** etc. I felt like I smelled gas since then but my husband disagreed and so I thought I was just being jumpy and paranoid. Well the gas meter arrived today and to our suprise it detected another leak so we called *** Fuel again. The gas was leaking in 3 more spots. 2 spots were leaking at the joints to the gas pipe going to the hot water tank that Shane from Franks basement reinstalled after breaking it apart to do the gas line extension. Shane did not tighten the fittings enough to prevent gas from leaking which could have been catostrophic. I DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND FRANKS PLUMBING OR FRANKS BASEMENTS

Frank's Mr. Plumber Response • Dec 30, 2019

At Frank's our mission is to sincerely perform the services that our customers are in need of. We also faithfully address any problems that may arise in the complex procedures that frequently accompany quality plumbing work. We have addressed these issues with this customer and also reimbursed her 100% for this job. The customer had also graciously assured us that she would remove this review but may have forgotten.

Great Service! I discovered my hot water tank was leaking at noon on a Sunday. I called Frank's and got the pricing, He said he had a lot of calls but would try to get to us by the end of the day. Sure enough, by 5:00 we had a brand new tank installed. The best part is I didn't have to miss a day of work waiting around for a plumber.

I’d like to state this is the best company I have ever encountered ! They gave me the best price for an extensive plumbing job! But also stuck to their quote, did an excellent job and they were the nicest professionals to work with. They let me know every step of the way what they were doing and explaining the process! I am so impressed! Great company
