True indeed [redacted] and [redacted] had an appointment on Monday March ** at 2PM. Their 2015 KIA OPTIMA was on schedule for window tinting. While going over the prices, process and procedures of window film, they  asked how much to install aftermarket H.I.D.'s (High Intensity Discharge)...

headlights? The flat rate is $75 on installation only, I told them. I also explained to them and wrote it on their receipt that our rate of $75 is for labor only and we don't warranty outside products. Throughout the entire time they had asked for discounts, out of courtesy I gave in and issue a $10.00 discount, they were very happy and left their vehicle. After the H.I.D's were installed and the window film applied and everything was good to go, the vehicle was driven out of the bay and parked for the customer to pick up. Around 5:00PM I spoke with [redacted] and told him his vehicle was ready to be pick up. I left at 6:00 PM.Yours truly, Maria _front desk ###-###-####Customer didn't show up until 6:50PM. I collected payment and handed their keys. When customer turn on the car the lights turned on and then shut off. The H.I.D's were defective, I asked them if they could bring the car back the next day so I could take them out and they can take the HID kit and exchange them at the store they originally purchased it from. I was willing to put the other kit in at no additional charge the next day not at 7:00PM. I was expecting them on Tuesday.Yours truly, Bobby _ installer ###-###-####Tuesday March ** 6:00PMGates are locked, shop is closed, I was in my car heading out, when [redacted] pulled in the driveway demanding a refund on installation of HID's. I was not aware of the problem with the HID's. I gave her my full attention and asked her to give me until the morning to hear the installers version and to bring it to my boss's attention.Wednesday March ** 9:00AMBobby had put them on schedule for Tuesday to fix the problem, customer decided to take it somewhere else.

Dear Revdex.com, We've been in business for over 12 years and this is our first issue that unfortunately we are unable to resolve with out remediation. The situation that transpired with the person above was that they purchased pre-cut window film, and a set of plug and play hid kit, the person writing this complaint against us attempted to install the window film themselves on the vehicle earlier that day, they were unsuccessful and frustrated, some how they were convinced that they knew how to install window film because its easy, but the plug and play hid were going to be complicated as I earlier had mentioned they were unsuccessful and frustrated when they first dropped off the car and they asked me if I could give them a discount for bringing enough film to do one door glass on their car please keep in mind our flat rate for tints on most cars cost 125 average 5-7 windows that's about $25-$17 dollars per window with our materials and warranty included. I called them at 5pm to notify them that their car was ready for pick up, he told me he'll be here with in an hour although we close at 5, my installer waited until 6:50 once they came my installer brought the car to the front of the building the lights turned on and turned off, then turned on and started to flicker, my installer took the car to the install bay and turned the lights off and then turn them back on they turned on he let them warm up for about one minute before bringing the car up front to the customers. They came back inside to notify my installer that the lights didn't stay on, my installer turned to them and said "ok so we need to change the ballast because the lights keep flickering so it can't be the installation" (at this point I need you to understand there is only one way to connect the hid kit, because each outlet has its own designated plug that does not interchange with one another and still produce a light. It simply will not work)" The customer replies to my installer "well how do I know its installed right?" In which my installer replies " sir please bring your car at 9 am and I will fix it for you." They decided to go back to where they originally purchased the lights from, and instead of honoring their product, they shifted the blame on us and upsold them on the faulty product that they purchased the first time. I personally was made aware of this at the closing on Tuesday evening, when the lady pulled in to the closed gate, and asked for a refund. I explained to her that  we were closed for the day, but to give me until the morning to gather information from the installer and make an informed decision. As soon as I opened my email the next morning there was an official complaint from this customer with the Revdex.com, they didn't even give me a chance to learn the details if in fact a refund was in order. The fact is that prior to installing anything I informed them there is no warranty on outside products. Clearly a service was performed and time was spent, and my installer also offered to help them in the morning. We as humans have no control over anyone else preferences, but we all have the free will to do as we please. [redacted] and [redacted] were asked to bring their car in the next day to remedy the problem at no additional cost. Taking the vehicle to their choice of shop the next day was their decision. In my opinion, me personally ,I think paying $100.00 for an essential piece does not make sense, when everything else has already been installed in place. Which makes me wonder what is the name of that essential piece, when all HID Kits come with 2 ballasts and 2 bulbs.
