Frantina & Co has been in business for 25 years and to this date has never had a complaint. Here is a timeline of events as well as I can recall.
February 17, 21, 24, 2014, Applied stain to stairway and painted balusters.
February 27th, I was asked to intervene in a dispute they had with...

another contractor over charges he had with them over their stairway installation, to which I don't know why they even brought me when I had nothing to do with their grievance with him.  They wanted a $500 deduction from him on his invoice.
 
March 4, 5, and 6.  Living room, and entryway received two coats paint.  Entryway was  touched up per their blue tape areas of smudges done by others.  I made a mistake of painting over existing yellow paint by others in my hasty efforts.
 
March 12, 2014.  I asked the man of the house if everything was in order along with my co worker.  "He said everything was fine." That same day I asked the lady of the house that I would need payment on March 13th, and her response to me was "I will have my husband check things out and write you a checktomorrow."
 
March 13, 2014.  I received final payment and my co-worker finished up all loose ends for this customer.
 
March 14, 2014.  I received a text from husband requesting paint colors.  I responded back that I would take care of the ceiling for him as a courtesy call.  The ceilings in this area was not part of the proposal. Later that same night I received two vicious voicemails while out of state on a family visit and it was very late and I told the owner I would take care of the issues pending but at this time I was not going to deal with these issues and I would take care of them when I would returned back home.  Owners per their texts and voicemails where adamant of not having me back and stated they were going to spread the word of my unprofessionalism through Yelp and the Revdex.com.  All paint colors that she requested are mentioned in my proposal provided to them.
 
I offered to fix all their concerns, to which they declined.  His text reads as follows:
 
"We wont be needing you to come over anymore", therefore not allowing me to resolve the issues.

Review: We hired [redacted] to paint our house and our custom kitchen cabinets. I would stay as far away as possible from him. He is unprofessional, gets paint color wrong, and does a HORRIBLE job. Two of our other contractors looked at his paint job in our kitchen as said (verbatim) "I could paint better than this blind folded" The paint he applied on our walls was uneven, he used one coat of paint in many places (showing the existing paint) and was all over our new hardwood floors. He painted grey onto our white cabinets and on to our kitchen window. WHen I asked him why the paint was on our kitchen window panel, he stated that he was covering the existing yellow paint. He then told me that if I scrapped it off (his job, in my opinion) he would repaint it. When I became more upset, he then told me that he was not going to lose any sleep over this situation. I have tried to contact him several more time about paint colors he used, but since he has been paid, he has not returned any of my texts. My husband and I spent 4 hours rectifying his mistakes. Additionally as time has passed, we have noticed more and more mistakes he has made in our kitchen and on our walls. He is terrible and I would never wish my worst enemy to work with him. PLEASE DO NOT USE HIM.Desired Settlement: We would like a cash amount back for the lack of professionalism and for the horrible service he gave to our house.
