is important to note that we made four custom awnings for Ms. [redacted] in 2007,
(And her file indicates that she was satisfied with the awnings and our
workmanship.) The fabric she selected for those awnings is no longer available
(as it was discontinued several years ago by the manufacturer). when she called
about wanting a custom drop curtain made from the same fabric, I told her that
fabric was no longer available, but that I would check to see if we had any
left in our inventory. Our sewing shop manager informed me that she found
enough yardage. (I did not    it would
have a horizontal seam until after it came out of our sewing shop.) We thought
we were doing the right thing by providing her with a curtain to match her
awnings. And we do not agree that the inclusion of a horizontal seam deems the
curtain or our workmanship "amateur or "shoddy."Ms. [redacted] placed her order with us over the phone, gave us
the dimensions and fastening specifications, and the curtain was made in accordance
with the information provided by her. She wanted the curtain to match her
existing awnings and to shade a specific area of her home, and that is what it
does.
