Fratangelo Gardens

Review: On 5/17 we purchased and had three Armstrong maple trees planted in our yard in Sewickley at a cost of over $1000 (plus $200 in tips for the installers). The trees are over 20 feet tall. One day after installation, we noticed that two of the trees were improperly installed such that they are leaning toward our house. We immediately contacted Fratangelo's to let them know that the two trees needed to be straightened and they told us they would send a crew. But, they tried to convince us to fix the trees ourselves--unfortunately, the root-balls weigh over 500lbs. However after 9 visits to their Coraopolis location, two visits to their new Cranberry location ([redacted] Nursery), and over 20 phone calls we have had no luck in getting them to fix the problem. They assured us that they opened a "ticket" on the problem and they delivered it to [redacted] (owner) to address. We met with Mr. [redacted] at the Cranberry location on 7/25 and he agreed to stop at our home later that day to fix the problem. He never showed up and never followed-up with us. Again we called him back and he agreed to stop by the next day and we never saw him. We called him again yesterday morning and he told us he would take care of it on his way home, and for us to meet him between 6:00 and 6:30 at our residence. We waited outside for him until 8:00 pm and never showed. We called his cell phone last evening and it went to voicemail. We tried to reach him again this morning and again it went to voicemail. If the trees stay as they are currently planted, in a few years we will have to remove them because them will grow into our house. They must either be remedied or removed.Desired Settlement: We request that Fratangelo's come and straighten the two trees and warrant to replace the trees if they die in the next year. Otherwise, we request that Fratangelo's refund our money for the two trees (approximately $700) so that we can hire a landscaper to come and rectify the situation.
