Mr [redacted] contacted Schmit towing to tow his vehicle We arrived and loaded his vehicle Upon discussing payment options, he stated all he had was a check Company policy is to not accept checks He said that was all he had and now wants to call another towing company to tow his car Since having the vehicle already loaded onto a flatbed, we had to be paid a service fee for coming out He refused, we then brought the vehicle back to our storage lot for non-paymentI Joe [redacted] the General Manager spoke to Mr [redacted] on separate occasions to work out payment arrangements He came to three different agreed upon discounted deals, Mr [redacted] was a "no-call", "no-show" on all three occasions A month later he contacted [redacted] Schmit, Owner of Schmit Towing and demanded his vehicle back free of charge, stating we were not willing to work with him on the matter, which is untrueWe sent Mr [redacted] a first letter then a certified letter explaining how the situation can be resolvedI have not heard back from him since Now he is contacting you for resolution The vehicle has been in our possession for over days State law states, the vehicle is now ours after the days have past and now his charges will be sent to collections We believe that he is disputing our Revdex.com rating because he is not getting his wayWe are willing to hold the car for another days if something can be resolved for payment

Jennifer is correct on her date but I did not receive notice from the collection agency that I was officially off their list until today 6/I was not willing to let this be resolved until I had absolute proof from Schmit Towing and the collection agency that I owed nothing I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

As per our last response, The next Friday he showed up to say I still don't have all the money together and that he was working on it and please be patientI told him okay The following Friday he called and said he was running late and that some guy was going to buy the car but couldn't be here until after 6pmI told him to call me later on and I would let him in lateHe never called The next morning he showed up on Saturday during release hours and brought someone with him to look at the carDuring this time we received NUMEROUS phone calls from people asking to buy the car and then discovered he placed an ad on Craiglist (See attached) selling the car from hereBy placing his Craislist ad he turned my company into a used car lot I then called him and said "we are done" He was not turning my company into a circus, after bad mouthing us on Criagslist With that being said, we still have the vehicle I moved it to our long term storage facility offsite and we are still willing to release the car to him for the $1,as previous negotiated All we ask is for a hour notice of when he will be here so we can arrange the car to be brought back here from our long term storage facilityThis time we will contact the Fridley Police Department to send an officer over for a civil staso the transition can go smoothly for both partiesLike I said before, the car has been here since 1-9- State law states, after days the vehicle is classified as abandoned and therefore, we can legal dispose of the vehicleWe have gone above and beyond to settle this matter and would like it to end peacefully and promptly*** has until May 31st, to come and pay for the impound The vehicle will be disposed/scrapped on June 1st,

Mr***'s vehicle was towed because he did not have a parking permit per Crest Oaks Apts requirements. We are to freely monitor their property for cars with no permit per our contract with them. Crest Oak Apt's first day rate with the one day of storage is $279.00. Our signs ARE
posted at the property. Please see attached photo's of the signs. The service we provide is hour towing and our impound lot release hours are Monday - Friday 7am to 6pm, Saturday 9am - Noon, Sunday 1pm - 3pm

I have not heard back from him since.  Now he is contacting you for resolution.  The vehicle has been in our possession for over 45 days.  State law states, the vehicle is now ours after the 45 days have past and now his charges will be sent to collections.  We believe that he is disputing our Revdex.com rating because he is not getting his way. We are willing to hold the car for another 15 days if something can be resolved for payment.

We have spoken to the customer directly, she was incorrectly charged and we have refunded the overage. It was an administrative error. Not a policy error. Dealt with the bank and they are satisfied with resolution as well as the customer.

We are sorry, we just got this notice, I am looking into it and will reply when I more information in the next day or two. Thank you.

I am sorry the customer is upset. I will need more information to be able to investigate further. Where was vehicle towed from? Year, Make and Model of vehicle. What date was the vehicle towed? Who did she speak with at Schmit Towing, what date and what time? Some of the calls are recorded and our...

lobby is video and audio recorded so we may be able to look that up. Also to address the 24 hour subject. We are open 24/7 for towing and service calls, but our impound release hours are limited as is common in our industry.  Our release hours are well posted on our website, our front gate and are also part of our police contracts. Please help me to investigate further by answering these questions. Thank you
