Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Milwaukee

Last evening's Level Passing was just one of many enjoyable events that Fred Astaire provides to encourage participants to grow as a dancer, to get fabulous exercise and to meet interesting people from all walks of life, many cultures and, thus, create a new "family." Fred Astaire has allowed me to develop new skills, given me the opportunity to compete (something I'd never dreamed of doing) and restored me from the inside out. Thank you, Fred Astaire!

My most enjoyable time? Hummm, could have been waltzing with [redacted] or doing the swing with [redacted] or the Argentine tango with [redacted] or maybe watching my friends [redacted] and [redacted] perform and win awards for Most Improved Student or Best Show Case. In any event, every moment I spend with Fred Astaire teachers and students is unforgettable!

Ballroom dance has become a significant part of my life since my husband first walked into the Milwaukee studio about three and a half years ago. The instructors and staff are friendly, caring, and accommodating, and I am amazed at what I have been able to do with their help. I love learning and performing choreographed dances for the studio parties and special events like the annual Dance Fantasy. I’ve also enjoyed learning smooth and rhythm dances that my husband and I can do together, not only at the Fred Astaire events but almost anywhere you can imagine: jazz venues, outdoor concerts, restaurants, and more. There’s nothing quite like hearing a favorite song or a new catchy tune and having the mental wheels start turning: is it a rumba, cha cha, foxtrot, waltz, or any of several other fun dances? Dance is fabulous exercise and has helped me to lose weight and maintain a higher level of fitness than before. We’ve made friends with the other terrific students who come to the studio, too, and look forward to so many social events. I can’t say enough positive things about what dancing the Fred Astaire way has done for me.

I have been a student at FADS of Milwaukee for almost four years, and I have enjoyed every moment. My instructors are awesome and have the patience of a saint. The staff is professional but not stuffy. The owner of FADS of Milwaukee,is a special person and truly wants to see her students grow. She is a hands on owner and is always available to her students. FADS of Milwaukee is a great dance studio.

I love learning to dance ballroom dances with the instructors at FADS. It's been a positive experience in so many ways. I've been motivated to lose weight through the good exercise dancing offers. It's been good for my balance and agility. The dance parties and other festivities available have widened my circle of friends. Even though I attend alone, I get invited to dance by the instructors and other people attending. It's a pleasure to see others learn and improve as well. I've learned to waltz, tango, fox trot, and rumba and to do several Latin dances. FADS offers opportunities to dress up and have fun through spirited movement. It's given me a new lease on life. Most of all, dancing there is really relaxing and fun, fun, fun!!

Fred Astaire Milwaukee was so kind and professional it was amazing. From the moment we walked in the door to getting on the ballroom floor, they made everything a smooth and comfortable process. The teachers are very patient and professional. I would definitely recommend Fred Astaire to anyway. Can't wait to take more classes at this location.

Fred Astaire has been a great experience thus far. Our instructor is very personable and makes us feel very comfortable as we're starting out. We look forward to continuing our progress at the studio!

We bought an Amazon Local gift certificate for three ballroom lessons. We loved it so much that we decided to continue taking lessons. The instructors are incredibly friendly, professional, and make even the most self-conscious dancers feel comfortable. My only criticism is that the price per lesson is a bit steep.

My wife and I have been taking lessons and dancing at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Milwaukee for nearly 4 years. We came there to learn a dance for our 25 year vow renewal ceremony. However, after receiving great teaching, meeting new freinds and having one of the best experiences doing something we love together, we decided to stay and continue on this journey. This has been a great outlet for us and I would recommend this to any couple who wants to spend more quantlity time together and have a unique experience. The instructors are great people and the owner is one of the kindest most down to earth people I have ever met.
